I'll start with the good, it is a beautiful hotel perfectly located in downtown Louisville. It is very clean and classy perfect for a downtown event. The bad. No where was it stated that parking costs $30! My family went to light up Louisville and we choose this hotel so we did not have to deal with parking downtown and assumed that parking was included as a guest, I've never had a hotel charge me for parking before and it was not stated any where that it was not free. The room we got had to be the worst room in the hotel! Room 363 if you get it beg for another room! It is situated on the 3rd floor directly between the elevators and the doors for the parking garage. We heard people all night long. There is no microwave in the room and the blankets were an absolute joke they were super thin. Great for a downtown event but I wouldn't recommend it for anything else.

My stay overall was good, but I didn't expect to pay so much for parking $30. Also I'm not sure if the bedding had been changed. My pillows had a funny smell.

My daughter and I came into town for a volleyball game and stayed one night. The front desk upgraded us, we had a view of the river. It was very nice, the elevators were very fast which my daughter loved! Comfortable beds, comfortable couch, huge rooms! Shower head put out lots of water but not much pressure. The parking was $30/night which I didn’t expect, and my truck wouldn’t fit in the “actual” garage, but there was a garage in the other side of the entrance that was great. We loved that we didn’t have to walk outside to get to the game, and everyone was so friendly!

We had stayed in this hotel a couple years ago and was disappointed. It was not clean and need upgrades. But this time we were pleased with our stay. It was very clean and nice. The restaurants are nice and the staff is friendly.

Amazing and we will definitely be back, from the front desk to the Silks Bar top notch service. A must stay when visiting Louisville. 360 workout room, great views, large selection of dining and bar options, close too many sights. Rooms very were clean and renovated. Walkway to Yum Center. There are so many amenities, I would recommend checking out their site!

This is my second time staying at this hotel. I like a lot of the amenities—swizzle, the spa, the bar, etc. I also like the walkability to downtown restaurants and activities. However, both times I’ve stayed here, the quality of the other guests was not good. The last time, we had to be moved at 2am after several complaints were made by us about our neighbors smoking weed and yelling for hours into the early morning. This time, it was loud music and a large group of girls coming and going LOUDLY in the halls. I will never stay here and let them put me in a room near the stairs or elevators again—HORRIBLE. None of to amenities makes up for the poor quality of others who stay there. Now that it’s happened twice, it would definitely discourage my return. Also, why is the bedding so skimpy? You are basically given a sheet and mega thin blanket to sleep with. I had to call multiple times for blankets and they only bring you one more blanket each time.

The Galt is in the heart of downtown Louisville close to most anything you could want. The hotel was very nice with cozy beds and great linens. Front desk was accommodating putting my room next to another family with a separate reservation. They answered all our questions and made us feel welcomed.
