For being an older building in need of some exterior updates, the room was clean, updates where good, no issues with any hvac problems.

Finding the entrance to the hotel was tricky. Not at all user friendly. Definitely needs an upgrade. Signs would help a lot. Neighborhood didn't seem to be the best, several homeless people hanging around. Breakfast area not very clean, nothing was replenished, food pretty much gone before 9, breakfast was supposed to be until 10. On a bright note...staff was was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was absolutely amazing! Only complaint was little to no channels were working. With three kids that just wanted to chill after having a super busy day that was a little bit of an issue but besides that we will definitely stay again!

The room had many stains on the floor, the towels were damp, and the swimming pool was filled with scummy water. Plus, my rental car got tagged while parked overnight. The staff at the front desk for checking in were super friendly and nice.

Rooms were newly refurbished and nice but the faucet in the kitchenette wouldn't work. Staff was helpful. Lot of homeless people hanging out around this area.

Overall it was good. The room was clean and the staff was excellent. We had 1 light switch and 1 outlet that did not work. Those are the only complaints I have.

Pool is closed, breakfast poorly stocked with low/no bread, little or no orange juice, and I had to ask for plastic forks. Butter was cut into pieces and placed in a cereal bowl in the mini refrigerator. Limited tea bags available. Sausage and eggs and waffles good. Rooms OK, stained carpet, nice beds and bathroom.

Check-in was at 3 pm but because of minimal staff, we had to wait an additional hour to check in. The website advertised a pool but the pool was not cleaned, prepped, or ready for guests. After mentioning it to the front desk, they said we could use the Best Western's pool. The gym had minimal equipment and was extremely hot. One elevator for 140 rooms. Stairs were odd -go out external and then back inside. One stairwell did not access to the first floor (emergency exit only). Attempts to bring up to standard - lobby furniture and newer carpet in the hallway and in the room - newer carpet and furniture kind of. Phone was about 20+ years old, faded, and chipped. Tub was the same - could easily see wear and tear. The room air conditioner had a clicking sound all night. Breakfast - no fitted lids for the coffee cups, OJ was a gallon container all guests poured from, danishes and muffins were pre-package, scrambled eggs were minimal at 6:30am, and no meat available. It did not present well nor seemed appetizing or appealing. Front desk personnel - courteous, polite and nice.

Rooms were fine, clean, and comfortable. Nice area for breakfast. However, there was hardly a breakfast. We got down there at 7:15, and there were only 2 orher people eating. Whoever is supposed to stock or fill the breakfast foods, was not doing their job. There was a little bit of scrambled egg whites, sausage, 2 pieces of bread for toast, a bagel, 1 yogurt. The coffee was really bad. We sat there 30 minutes and watched people walk in, look, and walk out. It was the saddest breakfast bar ive seen. So we got in the car and drove to find some coffee. The pool needs attention as it was very green in color and we saw a bag of trash sitting nearby the pool.

Avoid this place. There are many other hotels to stay in the area. I already knew we were going to have problems when people were in a fight outside of the hotel. We get to our room and there is visible blood and body fluids on our comforters. The head board had body fluids everywhere. The cabinet the fridge was in had at least 2 inches of dirt and dust in it. I picked up the remote and it had crud all over it and was so sticky when I wiped it off with my own cleaning wipes it was completely black. Then the bathroom light look like someone spread their poop all over it. The fridge was not working and smelled like rotten meat. When my husband went and complained no one even came to see the room they just gave us keys to a different one. We go to our new room and the air didn’t work, there was used toilet paper in the bathroom, the same dust was in the fridge cabinet, the iron had so much mold in it and handle wasn’t wiped down, the ac unit had all kinds of dirt in the vents, and everything was covered in dust. There was tons of homeless, ladies of the night, and drugs at night in the street. We drive a Telsa and it caught someone going around to cars trying to get in including ours. Not a good place to stay. Pay a little bit more and stay in the nicer places down the street.
