Came into SLC for a Utes game. Decided to stay at the Peery. Found out it’s the oldest hotel in SLC and the upgrades/charm is spot on. Great craftsmanship throughout. One thing to be aware of is the size of the rooms. Since it’s an old hotel the rooms were made by turn of the century standards. Hence they’re small.

After an exhausting 86-mile tow and two days waiting for a tire, we were hoping for a little comfort at The Perry Hotel, but unfortunately, it was nothing but more disappointment. The parking situation was an immediate hassle—self-serve parking in a city lot behind the hotel, costing an additional $25 per night. Not the warm welcome we were hoping for. Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed the manager staring blankly at us from what appeared to be a hotel office window. It gave the place an unsettling vibe, but we checked in without incident, only to be told later that evening our dogs hadn't been paid for. Despite booking online with pets in mind, we paid for them right then. No big deal. The room itself was extremely basic. It was tiny, and there was no microwave, fridge, or any of the usual amenities that make a stay more comfortable. The shower was oddly complicated to operate, and the entire room felt cramped and uninviting. To make matters worse, the hotel had a distinct, unpleasant smell that lingered throughout. Check-out appeared to be smooth, and we received a breakfast voucher (additional charge) for the restaurant connected to the hotel. However, things took a turn for the worse after we left. About two hours later, we received an email claiming that our dogs "made a mess in the lobby" and "peed in the elevator." This was a blatant lie. The invoice showed the pet deposit ($75) and an additional $75 charge for the "mess." Our dogs are well-behaved, stayed in

Front desk agents had no customer service welcoming very bland people. Our toilet was showing signs of backing up called front desk for engineering was told no engineer property. Asked for a plungger agent didnt know where to find one. Never experienced this type of service . Glad we left 1 day early

I love this hotel, it’s one of my favourite hotels. It’s beautiful and historic It’s clean and the rooms are cozy and lovely It’s in a wonderful location and it never disappoints I will always be back when I’m in SLC

They couldn’t find my reservation even though I had a printed confirmation, then claimed they were full and didn’t offer any resolution. Sent me away. Manager wasn’t helpful at all. Avoid this hotel.

Great spot. We were in town for a concert and felt. The area was fine, there were several eateries and a couple of bars within walking distance. The only complaint I have is that we could hear the gentleman next door snoring.

The property was conveniently located - walking distance to Trax and any kind of food you are interested in eating. Building is old and that comes with some issues but the beds were clean and comfortable and staff was accommodating and I would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay, the bed was comfortable and clean ,we appreciated the night light in the bathroom. We were in 228 the noise from the street wasn't too bad on Friday night and pretty much none on Saturday night. Definitely will stay again

This was a super interesting experience! The staff was super accommodating and helpful! I love this cute boutique hotel, and I love Hilton’s! The only thing that was a little hard to get used to was the vibe of the hotel! I stayed three nights and didn’t sleep at all the first two nights! After the first night, I googled if the hotel was haunted and sure enough things came up! I’m extremely spiritual in~tune and definitely felt some very weird vibes there! If you love the feeling of watching a horror, film or very scary movie, that’s how I felt the whole time staying here! The fire alarm went off randomly, and that was before I googled that it was haunted! Then it kind of just all started making sense the scary feeling I felt there! I swear, the first night I felt a spirit touching my face! I was in room 232. Therefore, if you love feeling spirits on the other side, come to this hotel! It’s very interesting in that respect!!
