Hotel was okay. In need of fefurbishment but was clean and had everything we required. Food in the Bistro was very nice, service was okay but slow migth have been due to wedding on in hotel. Room was okay again getting a bit tired and in need of a refresh. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy with everything needed. One main complaint was a lot of mould on bathroom ceiling, due to inactive fan.
Breakfast each morning was good and pleantyful with attentive service.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our trip to the Jacobite train and was conveniently located near various shops and restaurants. We had a lovely stay and greatly enjoyed our trip!

Old hotel with nice atmosphere.
However the hotel, beeimg old, do not match today standards on soundproffing etc.
You can hear the bar, the people who pass by in the corridors and your neigbours.
Good breakfast.
A good choice if you travel by train. 2 minutes walk to the station.

Excellent location, friendly staff. Very comfortable. Only minor negatives were waiting for a bar person in the evening. Friendly breakfast staff, good selection… bacon & eggs a bit tough with being kept hot, but I wouldn’t say this had affected our stay. Will come again if visiting Fort William

Convenient location. Rooms are clean and comfortable. No way to open window which made for stuffy room.

Hotel looks great from outside, lobby and dining area look great. The bedroom was disappointing. Out dated with stained worn out carpet. The bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. Decor was stuck in the 70’s. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. I slept well only because I was very tired. The location was good and the shops were easy to get to. Breakfast was good and the dining area was smart.

Room 315 had kitchen extracting trunking by the window which gave an irritating noise which meant we could not have the window open there appears to be a pigeon roosting there also making various annoying noises pecking the window etc - we were disappointed to not find a clock in the room ! Staff were very polite & helpful
