Nice setting and location practical for walking around the city. However rooms are very noisy you hear people moving around in the hotel especially from the floor above.

The Windsor is a slightly old fashioned hotel with a quirky interior and rooms. I've stayed there on several locations and love going back. The location is great being almost equidistant from the train station and the seafront. There are many excellent restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel has smartened up its garden space with an improved food and drinks offering. I had a beautiful room overlooking the garden which is a rarity in Nice.

Fabulous hotel in every respect! We loved having breakfast in the jungle garden and taking advantage of the swimming pool. The hotel is comfortable and clean and the food is excellent. The hotel has an elevator, which is essential for me. The staff are lovely. The hotel is located on a quiet street close to restaurants, the beach, and a bike path along the water. The artwork makes the property very special. We want to return here next year!

Well situated but quiet ambiance both inside and in the secluded garden area. Room very spacious with comfortable bed and balcony overlooking the garden as promised.A couple of slight niggles - a basin plug that wouldn’t retain water and a shower that was slow to drain and ran the risk of overflow. Breakfast decent but not exceptional. Staff very helpful and friendly.

We stayed for one night in one of the basic rooms. For the price they charge we were expecting more, even from the standard room. We got a room on the first floor (ground floor) with a window to the street and the stairs above the room. This meant we could not use the windows and had to have the curtains over at all times since people walked right outside looking in. In addition the noise from the stairs was also very noticeable in the room. Nice backyard and pool area, but for the price we can not recomend staying at this hotel.

The Windsor Hotel has a very special atmosphere. Dining under the trees or even just relaxing in the garden during the day is a unique experience and the pool is a welcome addition. Our room was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the wonderful food. You cannot believe you are only a stone's throw from the centre of Nice as it is so quiet and private. Staff were friendly and helpful. We shall definitely be returning to this heavenly oasis.

The staff at the reception were kind and helpful. The hotel has a good location. The staff at the breakfast was horrendous. The cleaning was overall alright but the old rug on the floor was dirty.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bar didn’t have any atmosphere which was a same and the pool looked like it needed a clean so we didn’t try it out

Great location. We walked all over Nice from this location. Main walking street with many restaurants and shops is a few blocks away. Lovely chilly AC in the room which was a must in the summer heat. We did not use the pool or eat the breakfast so cannot comment on those. But purely based on location, safety, cleanliness, and amenities, we would stay here again.

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel in Nice - VERY nice area with a nice garden area and a small pool - very discreet place with a wonderful friendly helpful staff - we will be back

We loved the art work and the mural (by Glen Baxter) on the wall of our room. The garden was glorious- and the birdsong ( & birds) a delight. Our room was lovely.. comfortable and very quiet. Overall, a lovely relaxed environment, and SO convenient. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a superb position, walking distance from the sea , tourist office and Old town. Overall we really loved it and hope to be able to afford another visit We were disappointed - and surprised - by a couple of small things (a) the lack of toiletries -no body lotion, hand cream, hair conditioner, nail file. No face flannel. This is the first time I have ever stayed in a 4 star hotel without these things. (b) No Earl Grey tea. The reception initially said it was not possible to -provide this - but then to our surprise 2 bags were provided. We did not like the full cream UHT milk. (c) The only drinks in the mini fridge were bottles of water. Given that anything there was to be paid for, there could have been a greater selection. These are small things, but would have made our stay even better - given the restriction of liquids on flights we had come without the various lotions we needed ( as above) expecting them to be provided
