Pleasant and peaceful hotel within walking distance of the amphitheater and the other attractions. They were very kind to give us a small gift because we were celebrating our anniversary. There was also a complimentary bottle of water. The room was comfortable, and there was a tower fan that was nice as I stayed in the summer. The breakfast seemed to be designed with health consciousness in mind. In particular, there was a good selection of cold cuts and cheese.

Very nice hotel just outside Trier’s center, with plenty of parking lots. 30 minutes walk in to city center and all historical attractions. Our room was large with even larger porch. Wifi was rather slow. Breakfast was ordinary. Nothing missing, but nothing extra. The hotel’s restaurant / micro brewery was excellent, with very good food and a great selection of ”in-house” made quality beers

This place was perfect for a family with kids. The biergarten had a kids play space with good food and beer. The breakfast was also really nice and had everything. The only con was that it was rather warm since there isn't air-conditioning, but it seems to be the norm for Europe. We would definitely go back here.

Staff is outstanding and make the extra effort in so many ways that make the service exceptional. Rooms are comfortable without being extravagant. Though not old, unlike much of Trier, it feels like a really comfortable pair of slippers that welcome you to relax after a busy day.

The room was just ok and small. The noise from the beer garden was more and went later than the staff promised. The staff was the true downfall. They were somewhere between cold and rude about the noise issues. It is always sad to see people working in jobs that don't make them happy. Finally, the wifi signal was too weak to use in the room so we had to camp out in the stairwell to use our devices. There are probably better rooms for the money in Trier.
