The location is prime for access to transportation and restaurants. Our room overlooked Praca Figueira, which was very scenic. There was street noise at night, but you could close the windows to block out the sound. There was no elevator, so we got our exercise walking up to our room. Breakfast was great. The dining room was small so breakfast times were booked by guests. This Pension is well worth the price

Comfortable stay. Great location to train station, bus, tram, metro, shopping and restaurants. Front entrance is a bit hard to find since there in no lobby. Reception is on 2nd floor

The property is very old - there is no lift which is a huge problem - furthermore, no porters are available to assist with luggage which we had to carry up four flights of stairs.
Furthermore, the room is very small & the bathrooms etc. are shared and not inside the room. It is more like communal living. It was a mistake from our side to make the booking as we had a lot of luggage and did not research properly.
On the positive side - if you are young, travel light and are on a budget then I recommend this hotel - the building is very old but it is right in the city center & despite the room being small it has a an amazing view from the 4th floor & a tiny balcony to relax.

This is a clean, no-frills, and very practical stay at a great location. I am very glad I found it and booked it. The breakfast is very good to jump-start the day. I found the front desk very helpful as well. To explore Lisbon and vicinity by foot, metro, or rail I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location; close to Rossio Square, restaurants, tours. Hosts were welcoming and accommodating. A generous breakfast was provided in a bag due to us leaving early to the airport. The room was clean, a bit noisy at night from the outside activity but a great place for us for one night.

Very good stay in Lisboa. The place is very pleasant to visit city. Nevertheless, pay attention to the shuttle service to the airport proposed by the hotel because it was not reliable, the taxi booked for 6a.m had 20minutes delay.

Overall very surprised with this hostel. I had an double room with private bathroom that looks like it was perhaps updated recently (very modern with USB ports built-into wall sockets for example). Bed was decent and location is very good (you can walk to most popular spots in this part of LIsbon, or get to public Transportation as the metro station is just around the corner from here). The only two issues was there is a bit of noise from outside (my room faced away from Rossio Square but still there was a bit of noise from outside, not the hostel itself) but after awhile you don't notice it very much (the windows do appear to have insulated panels to keep most noise out but you can still hear stuff from outside a bit). The second thing is that there is no elevator (I knew this but am putting this out as a warning warning to those who may not know -- so you'll have to walk up some stairs whch can be a problem if you have heavy bags). But overall, I was surprised and would stay here again if I'm in town. Breakfast was good and plenty of options but you have to sign-up for a slot for breakfast the night before. For those who need quiet, this may not be the best option, but for those who want to be close to everything and don't mind some noise, this could be a perfect option.

As a solo traveler, I loved this little room with a view! Everything was very clean. The AC worked great. Breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only "criticism" is that the hotel is on the second floor of the building with no signage anywhere on the first floor or outside of the building, so a bit hard to find!

Located on 2.-4. Floor without eskalator . Locked doors on each floor makes it difficult to visit Co-travellers. Staff not welcoming attitude.

Only reason for the lower rating is because of the street noise.
Checkin was easy, the facilities were clean. Amenities were minimal, which reflects the lower price charged for rooms. Beds were hard, which we don't mind. Hostel type vibe, which we anticipated.

Thats the reason for giving a 2 for cleanliness otherwise the cleanliness was ok.

We loved the location and the room was just the right size for the 3 of us. Most necessities were included.
What we did not like is that this property does not have an elevator. Our room was on the 4th floor and there were many stairs to climb with luggage. Also it would be nice if the property would provide a box of tissues.
