Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of recommendations for meals and things to do. Room was lovely, very clean and furnished nicely. A fan was provided to try and cool the room down but it was still incredibly warm in the room with the high temperatures.

We so enjoyed our stay that we have discussed a return visit just so we can stay again…for a longer period of time.

This is a beautiful little bed and breakfast, impeccably clean and well run. Pros, spotless, quiet, breakfast is ample( loved the offer to make soft boiled eggs). Safe, clean neighborhood. Giant bathtub for 2. Cons: I want to preface this by saying we’re from the US . If I was local, I’d come here for romantic weekends but we were using it as a base for sightseeing. If you’re not familiar with the area, this is a difficult place to find and a long walk20-25 minutes) from the start of the historic district. It’s in a residential area so not really close to many restaurants except by car. Our major complaint was the bedding. The mattress was great but only one type of pillow(flat, feather) was available. Plus the bed was styled traditionally Austrian with 2 small single down comforters, no top sheet or lighter blanket. This is ok if you’re Austrian but if you’re advertising to other cultures it would be nice to have other bedding options available, firmer pillow option, top sheet or lighter blanket. I literally was up 10 times a night either too hot or the comforter was on the floor. Additional bedding is an easy, cheap fix and would take it to a 6 star lodging in my opinion as everything else there was top notch.
