The place was ok, budget hotel near airport. Dated compared to the pics. The bed was disappointing and not comfortable.

It is a lovely place, clean, staff were helpful and friendly. The location is great as you can have a nice walk to explore the nearby restaurants and port area. Transportation also is an easy access to city centre. đź‘Ť

The room we stayed in #13 has bed bugs. I was all full of bites the next day. They need to take care this this so no one else gets bed bugs to take home.

This was our fourth stay at Hotel Academy. We came in 2018, 2022, and twice this October. The first three stays were wonderful, it is why we returned. However, this last stay was not very good. We were in one of the outside rooms and it was so humid in the room everything felt damp. The sheets on the bed were very damp and overall we felt like we were sleeping in a swamp. We did not sleep well and felt terrible on the morning from the dampness.
The other concern was the very grouchy service person at breakfast. On both of our stays this month he was quite rude and he was coughing while making coffee. The front desk staff were very good and very helpful.

Ok for one night before go to very near Rome AirPort. Room very basic, but ok - for one night. Breakfast even more basic. Also near to restaurant street in the small ocean city Fiumicino.

We flew into Rome at night and were flying out the next morning so we just wanted a hotel by the airport with a shuttle. Honestly I would not strongly recommend this place. It didn't feel 100% clean, there were not even towel racks in the bathroom to put our towels on, the shelf was falling off the bathroom wall, and to make matters worse we couldn't take the shuttle in the morning because it doesn't run on demand or even very frequently and the timing was not convenient for us.

Great place close to the airport with lots of restaurants nearby. Room was clean and the bed comfy. Check-in was fast and easy. Has airport shuttle which was a plus.

This hotel is approx 2 miles from Fiumicino Airport for Rome, is located one block from the river with many wonderful restaurants.
The staff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Andrea at the front desk is so helpful and kind. Emon, who manages the breakfast area, is also kind and makes great coffee!!!!

From the second we opened the door of the room it smelled so bad, like mold, dust , mildew.
The sheets didn’t feel clean and the next morning had a rash all over my body.
You could hear everything from the rooms next to you and above you. In the side it says there is shuttle to the airport but it only runs till noon ish.

I needed a place to sleep for a few hours prior to catching my departing flight the following day. Otherwise, the staff members were accommodating and polite, there's an option door breakfast (€5), parking is simple and the proximity to the airport was great. Also, I was pleasantly surprised with how big/clean/new the bathroom was.
