About this house rental

This peaceful family holiday home is just a short walk from Holt’s bustling town. Seek out its Georgian charm and character with art and antique galleries, fashion boutiques, food shops, café's, pubs and restaurants. The Green Flag awarded Holt Country Park (0.5 miles) has over 100 acres of woodland to discover and Holt is also home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, where you can pick up the Poppy Line and enjoy a train ride to Weybourne and Sheringham on a diesel or steam train. There is a park and exercise area with excellent equipment for children and adults within a 1-2 minute walk from the property. The coastal villages of Blakeney for seal trips and Cley for bird watching are just five miles away. A little further along the coast road is the current home of the Earl of Leicester, Holkham Hall, which hosts numerous events throughout the year. Colourful beach huts decorate the vast sands at Wells-next-the Sea (19 miles) and the picturesque quay is just the spot to enjoy fresh fish and chips. Combining luxury, comfort and convenience, this welcoming retreat provides the perfect base for spending days out on the beach, afternoons exploring local towns and villages and evenings relaxing at home. On the ground floor, a trendy kitchen with a central island and bar stools creates a sociable hub for all to convene. Complete with French doors leading directly into the garden, this well-equipped space features a five-burner gas hob, double oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There’s also a utility room with a microwave and washing machine. Carry meals through into the dining room where you’ll find a quality oak dining table for enjoying celebratory dinners together. When it's time to unwind, the lounge is furnished with plenty of sofa space, an abundance of books and games and a Smart TV, perfect for spending evenings inside. Switch on the woodburner-effect electric fire for effortless ambience. There’s a study for those that need to catch up on work or study while away. A cloakroom completes the ground floor. Upstairs you’ll find four inviting bedrooms, all of which feature fresh linens and quality mattresses. Two of the bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, feature an en-suite shower room and a Smart TV. The double and super-king size bedrooms share use of the family bathroom which completes the property’s inside offering. Outside boasts a good-sized garden with a patio area with a rattan furniture set with sumptuous cushions and a BBQ for alfresco entertaining, plenty of lawn for children to run about and a fire pit for the cooler evenings.
