The Old Factory House is a duplex apartment spanning the first and second floors. It offers three second-floor bedrooms: one double and two twins. The second-floor bathroom features a freestanding bath, and walk-in shower. On the first floor, you'll find a cloakroom with a basin and WC, kitchen/diner, a separate dining room, and a sitting room. The apartment has gas central heating, an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher. Entertainment options include a Smart TV, WiFi, and a selection of books and games. Fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included, and a highchair is available. Public parking nearby. Outside, there is a rear courtyard with furniture. Sorry, no pets or smoking allowed. A shop, pub, and the River Tweed are just 0.1 miles away. Note: There are non-slip steps to enter the property, uneven floors due to its age, single-glazed sash windows, and some noise from the restaurant below may be heard. Choose The Old Factory House. Stroll the circular walk atop the town's Elizabethan walls, and capture the spectacular views across the River Tweed estuary and Berwick's three bridges, including the famous Royal Border Bridge. Brush up on your history by visiting the local museums, enjoy sun-filled days at the beach and be inspired by the exhibitions in the town's superb galleries. The nearby town of Duns offers an award-winning butchers and a quality delicatessen, as well as pubs and restaurants, whilst the Jim Clark Museum and the Jim Clark Rally draw racing enthusiasts from all over the world. Duns Castle is well worth a visit, a romantic castle in a beautiful, natural setting, with well-marked woodland and lakeside walks through the estate.
