Wonderful experience

We were more than satisfied with the accommodation. Practically on the ski slopes. The staff was extremely friendly, from the housekeepers to the personnel in the dining area and bar. Clean and without complaints. Thank you for a pleasant vacation to all the employees at Gasthof Bacher :)

Location was perfect, on the piste. Ski to door, just perfect

Staff not really nice, made us feel like we are inconveniencing them each time we wanted to ask something. people from around the world visiting there and there is nothing in english anywhere, which we found a bit strange. A bit arrogant behaviour from the bar and reception staff simply because we don't speak their language. Shame...

One of most beautiful hotels I stayed in

What struck me most when I entered the room is how beautiful it is. Design is of wood and marble-like stone. And the restaurant is beautiful as well, as is the hotel building from outside. It's the most beautiful hotel I stayed in during my travel in Austria this year. Room is not big, very cozy. Well-furnished, too, with table and chair suitable for work. Staff is also extremely nice. Breakfast is good: omelette, bacon, ham, cheeses, though there are no sausages and no fresh orange juice.

Superb

Very nice hotel, absolutely great location (end of the village, up on the hill, you can start your mountain hike right from the hotel). Beautiful mountain view from the room's terrace (!) and absolutely best breakfast! Like really the best breakfast you can even imagine. It's till 10 AM, but they will let you eat till 11:30 AM without any problems. Also, great dinners and beer in hotel restaurant. Absolutely recommend this hotel.

The spa isn't able to use during the weekend, which is a bit strange. But it was the only negative thing.

Gutes Hotel, direkt am Weg zum Kareck, mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf die Berge und tollem Fruehstueck

The location was perfect, right above town, wonderful view, and on the trail to my destination (Kareck). Breakfast was sumptuous, although I would have liked a larger selection of fruit - that is the only complaint.

Bookings.com could have honoured my request for a single room - they charged double occupancy. If I had booked with the Hotel itself I would have saved about 100 US$!! Another strange thing: my surname Wood-Sichra was translated to Holz-Sichra. Bookings.com: don't translate!!!

Everything was great. The breakfast was fabulous, great service, great location, great staff. Room was perfectly clean, big and comfy. The view from restaurant was absolutely amazing!!!We are really grateful for having booked at that hotel because our experience couldn't have been better. I would recommend it without a doubt. Thanks for everything. There is no doubt that we will return.
