About this bed and breakfast

Listen to the many loons and enjoy all that amazing Damariscotta Lake offers on our 20-acre property. The newly constructed building was built from the trees on this property and is less than 200 feet to the water's edge. While our primary residence sits between the guest house and the lake, guests do have a private access path and their own slice of the shorefront featuring seating, a solo stove for campfires and a guest dock. The dock is ideal for tying up a canoe or a boat up to 18 feet long. Kayaks are available for use on the property. Enjoy all the wildlife that our shoreline offers with frequent sightings of loons, eagles and the many birds that visit our feeders. Wildwood Shores Road is a well-kept and quiet gravel road that is perfect for taking walks on and enjoying nature. The 20-acre property features a private road with a newly dug pond along it. Deer, turtles, foxes, eagles and more are frequently seen on this property.

The living quarters is a post and beam style construction that includes a large living area, kitchen, granite island and new appliances, including a dishwasher. The 36' x 8' deck offers water views, and features deck furniture and a propane grill. The 4 heat pumps inside will keep the temperatures perfect for you no matter the time of year. The bedrooms have new mattresses throughout and the European style sleeper sofa is super comfortable when additional sleeping accommodations are needed. The bathroom has a shower, laundry and a jacuzzi tub that is large enough for 2 adults to soak in.

This property is located only 20 minutes to the shops and restaurants of downtown Damariscotta. If you would like to mix in some saltwater to your stay visit Pemaquid point or the Rockland/Camden area, all approximately 40 minutes away.

The guest quarters are located above the owner's garage and private access doors are provided along with a guest parking area.
