Essence is basic. Staff was very friendly. There is a large bed but it was basically a giant foam block. There is a chair (folding) and tiny desk (also folding) and TV (reception was skiddish). On the plus side an excellent shower head!

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Considering it was just renovated, I had to change rooms. The first room the bed was very high and there was nothing to get up on it. I moved to a first floor room. Neither room had a closet or chairs. I was provided with a cardboard box in the second room so I could get into the bed. I had to sit on a wooden table. One outlet was hot after I tried to use it for charging. The plastic cups for the bathroom were hidden under the coffee cups. The light switch to turn the light off over the bed was near the door (no where near the bed). I had to use my cell phone flashlight. There was no door latch to feel safe. I took photos of it. Breakfast consisted of a protein yogurt, a 6.75 apple juice box, and two pieces of fruit. I had to eat that while sitting on a table. The only good thing was the bed and pillows were comfortable.

The phone and lamp were not plugged in, the shower took 5 minutes to warm up and then 5 minutes later set off the fire alarm. The soap, shampoo, and conditioner was all empty. The fire exit was also locked, which instilled a level of concern I've never felt before.
So why 2 stars and not 0? It's cheap. I slept 6hrs. I didn't die. I received the exact experience I paid for, so I cannot say I was surprised. It (barely) met my expectations.
Do I recommend it? God no. But it does in a pinch.

The staff at the front desk were amazing. Incredible customer service & assistance. The cleaning staff were not as helpful and were rarely seen. As for the appearance there was some work being done on my floor, outside my room. However, the staff at front desk were very helpful they asked if we were ok, if we needed to change locations but we were ok.

Apparently the hotel changed ownership the day after I booked (8/27). Was initially told 2 days prior to check in my reservation was cancelled. Hotel.com was able to correct that. The room had a king size bed (which was comfortable) but it literally took up 98% of the room. No ironing board/iron after there was a sign in the room stating to ask for one and when I did they said they didn’t have one. I stayed from Saturday to Tuesday , Monday I work remotely and even though the WiFi was great. They were doing renovations and had to come into my room to put a lock on the window. Which was a nuisance. It says serve breakfast but you get a bag of children’s snacks, water and a box juice. The kitchen area in the basement had mattresses and AC units stored there. so that was out of the question. The basement area had an ice machine with mold where employees would store cans of soda with no ice scoop. The shower had no enclosure so the water would just pool on the floor. Yeah I got what I paid for under $600….but I had fun at the Usher concert

Room are extremely small no fridge no microwave the bathroom is in the same room area with the bedroom. Staff smell need to shower. And the over charge people like $354 per night. Area smell really bad . I will never refer anyone there

Extremely loud - the front desk is the one blasting Indian Musi a through the night, I was up from 2am until the rest of the night and they refused even a partially refund. Even after I showed the manager the videos I recorded. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Not good. Olga on reception was very nice and helpful. There was a problem with the WiFi in my room and she moved me immediately to another room. Overall the hotel is very worn and drab. Strong smell of weed in the corridors and loud parties running well into the night on several nights. Aircon was great and hot water worked well.

This hotel is in very poor condition. The sheets were stained and had burn holes in them, the pillows were flat and also severely stained. The mattress had a hole down the middle of it with bent springs sticking up. The shower did not drain. There was only one small, thin towel provided and one bath mat. There was no room cleaning and we ran out of toilet paper.

I was a very late arrival and stayed for only a few hours. Bed sheets and comforter were not washed. The pillows were very dirty and very old. There was only one dirty towel in the bathroom.

Booked based on images, was not impressed when we arrived.
The hotel had stained linens, and the springs inside the bed had definitely seen their best days a long time ago. Not a good sleep.
The walls were like paper and the atmosphere was quite noisy.
The hair dryer was broken and there was not even a holder for the toilet paper.
Not worth the money, not worth the stay.
This is not the place to go.

Definitely would NOT recommend staying here. As others have mentioned, the photos as advertised do NOT match the current appearance. My room was tiny, cramped, dirty, and only had one old, sad towel. There was no safe (as mentioned) and the shower amenities were in these weird, unmarked, mismatched bottles. I tried asking if I could switch rooms and was met with a gruff shrug and "what do you want me to do about it?" attitude from the guy at the front desk who obviously couldn't be bothered to give a crap. Will definitely never be staying here again.

POOR service, false advertisement- do not go here. This place is a garbage. Do not waste your money here. The sheets has blood and stains from human excrement all over it. The sheets had skin flakes on it. And the place reeked from cigarette smoke and feces. And the guy and the front desk was unprofessional and pretended not to know anything. It’s honestly better to sleep on the street beside a pile of garbage-that is way cleaner that inside the room. The bathroom has feces stains on the walls. Do not use the bathroom if you don’t want to get a fungus on your buttocks. There is no gym, no bar, it’s all lies. I almost had a heart attack, I was so shocked.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! FALSELY ADVERTISED!!! Everything about the write-up and pictures are incorrect, except the picture of the street view of the hotel front and the fact that it is a good location.
I walked into the lobby and thought I was at the wrong address—the walls had gauges, the carpet was filthy, and it was dark and sketchy. The dismissive front desk man was insulting, especially when I asked about the “self-parking” on the premises for a charge that was advertised “It’s cheap hotel - no parking,” he barked.
I prayed for safety every time we used the elevator- it was filthy, jerky, and slow, AND there was no inspection certificate showing.
We had paid for a standard double room, with two people, on the third floor, in advance, so we had to stay.
Arriving on the third floor, we were consumed by the strong smell of weed and some very loud sexual activity down the hall.
We opened the door to our room—the door barely opened, the bed took up the whole space, except for a narrow side table and a free standing wardrobe. There were holes/dents in the walls; both light fixtures were hanging by the chord (only one worked); the TV didn’t work; the “Egyptian cotton” sheets had cigarette burn holes all over and looked gross, but smelled clean. The bathroom was large, but dirty. Also only 1 pillow and 1 towel for a two-person room!
There was not 24-hour security. The front desk was usually empty AND the front door did not lock!!

Groups of men standing outside, very predatory behavior. As a single woman traveler. I did not feel safe at all. The hotel smelled rancid, staled, damp and very stagnant. I’ve stayed at this hotel years before, I didn’t even stay in here for 5 min. The conditions really dropped in standards. Unacceptable.

Nasty stained dirty bed sheets pillows blankets and clocked toilet full of smoke on second floor as soon as you walk out the elevator marijuana(weed) odor and as you walk into the room cigarette smell front desk personal are not on time nor is anyone at the front desk to do the check in they have no personal (housekeeper) working just in case there is a need by a customer of new clean sheets horrible and disrespectful service their front desk telephone is on silent when a representative was trying to reach the front desk there was no one there and when someone finally arrived I had to tell them there is customer service from my online booking calling please answer the call and they refused to refund me my money with at bad attitude
