Welcome to The Fisherman's Oasis, a waterfront home! Our home is perfect for the whole family. Enjoy kayaking, fishing and crabbing just outside of the house or take a short drive or bike to the beach. You will find yourself surrounded by the calm canal waters and breathtaking views of the sunset. A large, wrap-around deck provides additional seating and tablespace.

Located on one of the largest canals in Jamaica Beach w/ direct access to Galveston Bay & State Park, you can't ask for a better location.

Boasting a prime location right in the heart of Jamaica Beach, you will be surrounded by incredible restaurants and dining options. Jamaica Beach City Park is less than a mile away while Galveston Island State Park and its trailhead and nature center are three miles away. Other must-visit attractions include Galveston Beach (12.1 miles), Galveston's 61st Street Fishing Pier (12.3 miles), Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier (14.9), and Galveston (15.8 miles).

Outdoor living is key at The Fisherman's Oasis! There is an extensive canal-front wrap-around covered deck with a lounge area, a second-floor canal-front balcony with an outdoor dining area, and an under-home patio with plenty of chairs, a picnic table, and two convenient kayaks available for guest use. Inside this air-conditioned home away from home, guests will encounter an inviting living area with plenty of natural light, comfortable sofas throughout, a large, smart TV for streaming and impeccable canal views. The spacious kitchen is every chef's playground with endless counter space to work on and modern appliances that will make cooking a breeze. Two coffee makers will keep coffee enthusiasts happy during their stay. There is a built-in mini-fridge and wet bar.

You won't find a more beautiful, more relaxing or more FUN house on the island... complimentary perks like kayaks, fishing poles and life jackets and an amazing underwater fishing light, "Jamaica Cove" has something for everyone.

'Jamaica Cove' is a place where families can bike to the beach or where children can fish from our pier or kayak through the protected canals of Jamaica Beach (we provide kayaks & life vests at no cost). This is a place where parents can relax on the deck and it's a place where friends can simply spend the afternoon grilling by the water or relaxing on the deck.

Whether you're looking to soak up some sun in the Jamaica Beach pool or spend the day hiking the nature trails of Galveston State Park, it's all within a mile of our home. Above all else, 'Jamaica Cove' is a place to get away for awhile, relax, and enjoy life with each other! (The Jamaica Beach pool is typically open 6 days a week from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and charges $5/person for a day pass.)

Our private dock is equipped with an underwater fishing light to help draw in the 'big ones' after dark! Trout, red fish, drum, and several other varieties are frequently caught from our deck!

Pets: Your pets are part of your family and are welcome in our home. We allow up to two dogs with prior acceptance form the host and a deposit. An additional pet fee of $100 will be charged per dog per booking.
