You’ll be ideally located to the neighboring towns of Townsend, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville, each of them offering their own unique options for shopping, dining, outdoor adventure, and energetic nightlife. Of course, you can’t pass up the opportunity to take a leisurely hike through the Great Smoky Mountains via one of several trailheads just a short distance from the home. In an area bursting with this much to see and do, all of your daytime hours can be spent fully immersed in nature. When you’re ready to call it a day, come back home to Cabin on the Edge to reconnect and recharge.
One of the first things you’ll notice about this home are the multiple wraparound decks providing stunning panoramic views of the tree-lined forest and mountain canopy. Abundant options for seating allow you to take in the fresh air while catching up on a good book, enjoying a hot beverage, or even dining al fresco. Soak your weary bones in one of the two outdoor hot tubs, an opportunity for a peaceful moment away from the crowd. Heading indoors, you’ll be taken in by the soaring wood paneled ceilings and large picture windows creating a grand space for entertainment illuminated with natural light. The living room offers plush sofa seating and a smart TV creating the ideal ambiance for an evening streaming your favorite shows. The open kitchen is a chef’s delight with stainless steel appliances, plentiful counter space, and a full suite of cookware and dining ware to aid in all of your culinary goals. Enjoy meals together at either of the rustic dining room tables, with seating for 12. An additional 2 seats at the kitchen counter can be used for mealtime overflow or for more casual bites.
If all that wasn’t enough, even more delights are in store! For an authentic movie watching experience, a separate theater room with a large screen TV and reclining seats will delight kids and adults alike. Pop up a bag of popcorn and queue up that new movie you’ve been saving for just such an occasion. To tap into your competitive side, make your way to the game room for hours of fun spent playing pool, or one of several arcade games.
This home comfortably sleeps 22 guests between 6 private bedrooms and a sleeper sofa.
Bedroom #1 includes a king size bed, smart TV, deck access, and ensuite bathroom with a single vanity, Jacuzzi bathtub, and walk-in shower.

Bedroom #4 includes 2 queen-over-queen bunk beds, a smart TV, deck access, and ensuite bathroom with a dual vanity and shower/tub combo.
Bedroom #5 includes a king size bed, smart TV, and deck access.
Bedroom #6 includes 2 queen beds, a smart TV, deck access, and ensuite bathroom with a single vanity and shower/tub combo.
The home also includes an additional full guest bathroom with a single vanity and shower/tub combo.
THINGS TO NOTE:
• Washer and dryer in home.
• Driveway parking available for up to 6 vehicles.
• Pet friendly! If you are bringing a pet an additional flat fee of $150 applies, and a maximum of 4 pets are allowed in the unit. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. To avoid fines, please keep your pet on a leash and pick up after your pet.
• The gas fireplace is currently out of order.
The property is located in the quaint and peaceful Wears Valley area of east Tennessee, with local shops, restaurants, wineries, and distilleries, as well as proximity to the "secret" Metcalf Bottoms entrance in Great Smoky Mountains National Park (1.5 miles). Nearby, the parkway in Pigeon Forge is just 12 miles from the home, and the historic charm of downtown Gatlinburg is 15 miles away. Take a trip into Townsend (9 miles) with additional national park access, shops, dining, and river tubing. Famous country singer, Dolly Parton, was born in Sevier County, making it a monumental place for devoted fans to visit. Dollywood, a family theme park jointly owned by Parton is located 15 miles from the home.
