The house is located between Upper Lake and Nice. We are right on the corner of Highway 20 and the Nice /Lucerne cutoff.
Traveling or working this is a perfect spot for you and your family.
You will not forget the peaceful surroundings of this unique destination. Settle into a smartly styled rustic cabin on 100 acres full of history and natural beauty (two bedrooms, full kitchen). Quiet and private, but just minutes to town, this property is a work of love, a restoration in progress. Once a vibrant retreat center, our location offers easy access to public launches for boating, and plenty of on-site parking for your vehicles, boats and other toys. Leisurely stroll the property in the shade of century-old olive trees, enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking our private pond, and relax as you watch the heron, ducks and resident osprey. Ready to step out? The quaint town of Upper Lake offers excellent restaurant dining and a bit of shopping for one-of-a-kind local art. Numerous wineries around the lake offer tasting and sales of excellent local wines. The town of Lakeport, just a 20-minute drive, provides beautiful lakeside parks, boat rentals, a museum of local history, as well as shopping and dining options in the historic downtown area. Lake County is home to several Pomo Indian tribes, with 4 casino options as well as periodic cultural events. Clear Lake is the largest naturally occurring lake fully contained inside California, and is believed to be one of the oldest lakes in the world. You can come to learn more about this unique lake and this beautiful area, or simply enjoy the amazing views from the privacy of our peaceful property.
