THe lady who runs the place is extremely helpful ,the breakfast was awesome the bed is cool wifi is perfect beautiful old house ,parking perfect great sleep , just go there already , so glad we booked in at this place

Stay was comfortable, relaxing and very enjoyable

Location lovely and quiet, room very nice and spacious, good view of back garden and surrounding fields

A small fridge would have been very helpful

A relaxing stay in a very comfortable room with delicious breakfast each morning, beautiful gardens with a tennis court and swimming pool. Amanda was the perfect host.

Out & About in Dorset

A very quaint Country Manor, surrounded by it's own grounds, located just outside of my hometown of Dorchester. My room was lovely and the breakfast was great (being vegetarian, the menu had vegetarian options).

Beautiful house and garden. Friendly, welcoming owner and staff. Rooms had everything you would want,Beds super-comfortable and cosy. Had read reviews about room 5 being noisy from pipes which wasn't the case at all. Breakfast was perfect and served with a big smile! Cannot find anything to criticise - it really was a perfect stay!

Leaving!!! I could have stayed a week- it was so homely, welcoming and relaxing!

comfortable stay in a beautiful area, made to feel welcome & would definitely stay here again

the room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. beautiful hotel and surroundings. Our visit was during lockdown so facilities were restricted. However we were made to feel very welcome and clearly the hosts had made every effort to adapt to COVID restrictions.

A lovely stay in a beautiful setting.

Amanda and staff went out of there way to accommodate my dietary needs. Breakfasts were excellent. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Tranquil gem of a hotel in excellent location

A really lovely stay in this tranquil gem so near to Dorchester. The beautifully kept gardens give a sense of countryside peace. The swimming pool - open from April - looked very enticing. Breakfast was excellent, with a cafetiere of fresh coffee brought straightaway and well presented and perfectly cooked food delivered efficiently and rapidly. Bed was warm and comfortable, as was the room. Ample and easy parking in the grounds.
