A great place to stay if you want a special treat along the Camino!

The hotel is of the highest quality in every way and the hostess who checked us in and also helped serve breakfast the next morning was so very friendly and kind, even responding to my mistake at breakfast with understanding, going out of her way to fix it and beyond. I recommend this hotel without any hesitation!

HIgh end, historical property which was a little oasis in tiny town of Azofra.

Beautiful property and gorgeous garden and pool. Lovely bedroom and bathroom with extremely comfy bed and spa bath for tired Camino walkers!

Really disappointed that no food served at the hotel other than breakfast which only started serving too late for most Camino walkers.

à conseiller pour des pèlerins qui veulent se reposer agréablement.

La bâtisse est magnifique et superbement décorée. La literie excellente et la chambre très propre. La piscine bordée de transats un vrai bonheur.

Nous étions au dernier étage il faisait chaud et la chambre n’était climatisée en plus nous n’avions pas de fenêtre mais un velux. « C’est un peu cher pour une sous-pente.

Exquisite night of luxury on the Camino

This gem right on the Camino is a night of luxury and beauty. The room was exquisite as were all the common living spaces. The staff were warm, welcoming and very professional. This stay was a treat in every way!! It’s family owned and the care shows!!

Gloomy, no tea/ coffee in room, breakfast was poor and couldn’t make basic drinks, bathroom very dated but shower worked fine.

Beautiful, comfortable room, however I had booked a twin room 6 months in advance only to be told there was not one available when we arrived, only after I insisted on a twin room did he do me a favour and make one available. I was looking forward to a swim only to find out when we arrived that the pool was closed.

No restaurant and pool closed.

a nice 2 day break to our journey - great location to visit bodegas if you have a driver.

quite classy finish. only 16 rooms so not busy and plenty of areas to relax in whatever the season. nice bar and pool area. lovely Spanish style breakfast. fresh fruit, toast tomato, revuelto and jamon all great. sweet cakes also very Spanish.

we were there in august and rooms on the top floor were very hot and the poor standup fan did not do much. we had come from an area in Andalusia which was high mosquito so but there were very few of any here so when we realised we could open the windows and let the cool night air in all was fine. pool was shaded and cold until afternoon. such a shame you can’t get any food or even a coffee at the property after breakfast. a few simple tapas would be perfect.

Fantastic stay in a luxurious and historic hotel with exceptional staff.

An exceptional hotel located in a 17th century palace. Luxuriously appointed throughout all the rooms and common areas. My room was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was quite large. The staff was outstanding and went out of their way to help. Highly recommended!

Better than any Paradour!

This beautiful space surpassed any paradour that I stayed at on the Camino. It is in the sleepy town of Azofra but it is so stunning that it makes for sheer perfection and rest!
