This is a terrible hotel. It’s a Days Inn and we were expecting a certain level of quality, which we didn’t get. Stay so

The location was good, the staff were friendly, and tried to be helpful.

It was run down and very tired. Anything that was repaired was obviously done by amateurs. It was obvious some of the rooms hadn’t been used for a while and were musty. The staff were accommodating and did move us when we asked, they also replaced a tv that didn’t work, but those are the only positive things I can say. There was a pile of rubbish, obviously from a party, outside our room when we arrived at 4 pm. Sadly it was still there the following morning.

Smells awful

I booked a room for my parents so they can celebrate New Year with me but they ended up driving far back to their house because the room smells bad, the bed sheets looks like it was re-used, the hallway smells weed and cigarettes. Overall, I payed for nothing because they were not comfortable at all.

Underwhelming

Location was perfect - central to almost everything and easy to access off of highway. Front lobby was clean.

Room was near an exit door where significant amounts of garbage were piled to be carried to dumpsters but remained there for several hours. It caused a smell that was absolutely disgusting. Not sure why the bags were not carried right out to the dumpsters instead of being allowed to remain inside. The thermostat was hard to work/understand. Room was over 30 degrees celsius when we arrived and had a difficult time getting it to regulate. We were unable to open outside door to cool it down or access our vehicle. There were people in halls / outside that were extremely loud and was unable to sleep for most of night - given I was there for a competition, made it extremely tough the next day given lack of sleep.

Parking close to room

Needs updating so bad. Old carpet and furniture. Can hear every door slam shut no soft close. I did not feel safe as a solo person

$50 damage deposit and the room was already damaged

For the $ value, this place had everything I needed. The internet service wasn't very good, as I kept getting kicked off, so I gave up. The restaurant there was wonderful. The young lady working and looking after our needs for breakfast was very pleasant and efficient. The food was also very, very good.

In the bathroom, there were towels but NO facecloths, which I have always needed and used. My husband was a little upset about the grounds being littered with garbage. especially when you drive in the right hand side to the back parking and entrance. It was terrible to see all the junk and garbage littering all along there. He felt they should spend time picking it up. Outside appearances are important. Also, the staff could spend just a few extra minutes to ensure the beds are properly made, as the bedskirts were tucked up under the mattress in places along the sides. Made for a sloppy appearance but all in all, it was a very clean room.

Until price is fixed, very unhappy

I was over charged. Booking.com quoted me a price of $124.86 The hotel billed me $175.00 I am furious over this. Someone owes me some money and until this is resolved, I am blaming both Days Inn and Booking.com Supposedly the balconies are locked for security reasons, but amazingly the people nextdoor had access (see photos).You can see their clothes on the railing. They were on the balcony at 230am

Hotel was adequate, staff were pleasant.

Bathroom needs some attention, toilet seat not bolted down properly, sink and tub drains were very slow to drain, hair dryer stopped working after a minute.

The pool wasn’t open, kinda the reason I booked the hotel was hoping for a hot tub atleast, we were in the centre of the hotel kinda thing so having to park the car away from the room…

Location just off the 401 was ideal for an overnight as I continued on my way

The smell! Obviously, my room had been used by smokers and it stank. The Inn itself is tired, needs an overhaul, fresh paint and tri pieces finished. Bu even vacuuming the hall carpets would go a long way to improving the overall cleanliness. Staff were very good, helpful.

Hotel was under renovations and the room next to us was being renovated so kinda noisy with all the work being done. Would of been nice if we had a room that wasn't beside a room under construction

Simple stay and located in a great spot for us

Stayed mid-week for a day to attend a gymnastics competition. The front desk was very helpful to explain where certain landmarks of interest were. He also put the other party attending the competition in the room beside us for convenience. Simple and short to find from the 401, and is located in a nice area.. Short walking distance to essential places like: groceries, the mall, coffee, restaurants, etc. Facility is older; however, the beds were great, rooms were clean, the wifi worked, and I received a great price! Would stay again.

Really dated, not real clean, electrical and cable tv laying open on floor . Also under construction , large pot holes in driveway.
