I did not stayed at the hotel and did not get my money back from both rooms i rented there.

I did not like anything

I did not like anything about this hotel, starting from the odor as soon we entered the building we noticed an intense smell that we couldn't describe. The room carpet was stained with white crusty spots and black stains. The bathroom"s floor was sticky. the room was tidy but not cleaned.

Depot non remboursé

On m'a facturé 100$ de plus en guise de depot, qui etaient sensé etre remboursés quand je quitterai l'hôtel mais lorsque j'ai quitté on m'a dit ce sera restitué lorsque la femme de menage aura fait la chambre, il n'en fu rien, ils m'ont demandé après ça mes codes carte de credit dont le cvv, je n'ai aucune confiance pour donner mes codes. Je suis en litige avec eux

Convenient for short stay.

The neighborhood is fine. Value for money for short stay. Close to metro duration

Not in walking distance from city center. Old building, old door locks, could have been cleaner.

Very Stressful

IT’s dirty. No elevator and the carpet on the stairwell stinks. There is no parking. Non smoking room had a strong smell of smoke. There were bed bugs.

I was very disappointed with the “hotel”, would NOT recommend

Close to subway

Very old building and has smell. The bedding was not clean, had some old stains. The bathrooms was also not clean and the coffee machine had stains. All furnitures were old and damaged. When I was checking in, the receptionist couldn’t even speak English. They don’t have walk in security, you have to wait outside at night and buzz multiple times (waited about 15 min each time until the door was opened). My elderly parents had very bad time climbing their steep stairs to the second floor. In overall, I was very disappointed and those pictures on the ad is nothing on real. You must google other reviews before going there. My mistake, I will never go this hotel! I can even call it hotel, more like a motel on a driveway…

Enjoyed my night with my husband but from what I learned would definitely go somewhere else if you

I liked the look of the room somewhat minus the windows because they are old so you don’t get the view outside with the condensation.

The hotel is in over a bar which goes all night. On a busy street. So between the loud music and street noise I got no sleep. I booked the hotel without reading reviews will never do that again.

Excellent proximity to train station & grocery store.

It’s not really a hotel - just a staircase & hallway connecting a bunch of rooms. The picture shows a big rainbow flag on the building, in real life the flag also has the giant letters “BAR TABOO” which is a stripper bar. Definitely a different vibe. There are also only jacuzzis in *some* of the rooms. The place is very old, seems like it used to be super sketchy and they’re trying to clean it up as cheaply as possible. Stairwell & halls smelt like strong air freshener covering cigarette smoke. The room was hot & stuffy. The building has shifted and both the door to the bathroom & the shower door only close & open properly with great force and loud noise. There were stains on the linens. The whole place was in disrepair/run down. The worst was the carpet though - I’ve seen better quality & cleaner carpets in underfunded public schools. I had to include a photo of that. We expected a cheap, basic hotel - but this place was gross. We left early.

Budget but lack of certain need ie cups no tidy the room aon my 2nd day.

Nothing to like on the hotel.. Location not sure central but there are few buses nearby the hotel and metro are also nearby.

No Breakfast- basis like cup for drinking do not have only 2 plastis cups not sure is for toilet to use to brush teeth or for buy drink to use. Have to buy from super market as need to use the cup for drinking this is a basic need in the hotel. No Lift - as we have big luggages so need help to bring down on the check out day- no help and help to slowly bring down ... dangerous as it might fall if not do carefully... especiallly for elderly . No room service ie stay on 2nd night - bed was not tidy and bath towel and bin did not clear.

Very good value for the money.

Good value for the money! I stayed at the hotel with 2 friends, we were a bit anxious, having seen some bad reviews, but we actually had a good surprise. The staff was nice enough (we didn't have any special requests so didn't have to see them more than just to get the keys), the room and bathroom were clean. We booked a room with a double bed and a sofa bed and actually got 2 double beds. It was quiet (we stayed on Wednesday and Thursday nights). Nice streets and old Montreal at short distances. Able to park in front of the hotel.

The stairs are a bit old and smell smoke, and they were quite steep, which was fine for us, but I can understand that some people struggle to carry their luggage upstairs.

Very friendly staff, comfy bed, clean, quiet area and right next to the subway, great night sleep. Kept our cases all day to allow us to explore the city.

Was a faint smell as if someone previously smoked in room, but not that bad. Minor points being lack of facilities such as elevator for our suitcases, couldn't get the TV to work, no hairdryer in building.

It was ok.

No breakfast was given

I am a senior citizen. My room was on 2nd floor and there were no elevators. I faced difficulty in climbing up and down. There was no room attendant. I had to reach to my room with luggage and no help was provided to me. The key to my room was given to me from the reception and nobody even opened my room, put on the a/c etc.
