Cute cabin on the outskirts of town

Nice spacious, private cabin with a deck out front that has a couple of patio chairs and a large umbrella for enjoying morning coffee or an evening drink.

Being next to busy train tracks could be disturbing for some. The cabin is on the outskirts of town so it's a drive to any amenities (but not very far)

Room was nice, clean and cosy. AC unit needs replacing so that windows can stay closed during night.

A Text message was sent to us that room was ready and room unlocked when we turned up later than expected. Good to turn up and no fuss check in.

The ac unit stopped working around 4am so the room got stuffy and we had to open windows, didn’t realize the train tracks were literally behind the property. Many trains passing very early morning quite loud, interrupted sleep but needed the windows open to let in the cool air.

Superb

Very clean and everything we needed to cook meals for our family of 4. Loved the flowers. Decent value for location and amenities in that area.

Known next to train tracks. We we ready for the noise. Not terrible with the windows closed.

Disappointing

Location was really good, facilities were good except few.

Air conditioner was only in the living room, bathroom door was not locked, staff the guy who was serving us was the rudest i have ever seen. Worst customer service experience

we enjoyed the stay

it was very well kept, extremely clean on the inside and i love how the parking was right out front

by a railway track, and the exterior area looked a bit cluttered but i feel like summer and fall would be so pretty there.

Excellent Place - Would Definitely Return

This property is amazing and I wish I had spent more time here. We were really late to check-in but the management sent me a message on my phone with the Wi-Fi password and assurance that it was okay to arrive late. Don't let the name of the property fool you, because this is by no means your cheap one-night stay motel. It is actually a cottage that comes with full kitchenette and amenities. There is also a BBQ which I'd seen in the pictures and I made it a point to stop over at the local IGA store (which closes at 10pm) and picked up some meats for a bbq dinner. Oh what a great dinner we had that evening. Leftovers ended up on the breakfast plate and we had steak and eggs for breakfast, sitting under the cozy, well kept gazebo. The bedrooms are very spacious and the beds were comfortable and clean. Amazingly they have literally ALL channels available on tv and you could spend all night flipping through channels. Middle of summer and very hot? No problem, the half ton air-conditioner in the living room is more than sufficient to cool the entire cabin. We left the bedroom doors open and enjoyed a perfectly good, night's sleep. The bathroom has seamless hot water and the pressure is excellent. My only regret is that I did not book this property for longer than one night. Given the opportunity, I would return here 100 per cent.

Absolutely no negatives about this property. They do not give you any reason to have one.

Brookside is a nice little property, well manicured, comfortable, beautiful views. not just another motel

it’s not in a very good part of town, very noisy all night.

Passable

There were beautiful trees outside the cabins. The hosts were friendly. Check in and check out was contactless.

Hand soap had water mixed. Microwave had cheese stuck on it. I had to scrub it to wash it off. The cleaning products in kitchen were used. The cutlery and dishes were old. Thankfully, during covid I have been into habit of bringing my own cleaning box and dishes. It is right next to a railway line, so there was no view as such.
