Never again

It was fine

We walked to go to the pool and got locked between the hallway and pool door when our key card didn’t work. We phoned the front desk and after 5 minutes of the phone ringing the lady at the front desk said that we would have to wait at least ten minutes. The pool being on the 3rd floor was a problem. My daughter only in a bikini had to walk down the stairs and to the front desk past several people BUT there was not one person at the front desk other than the employee. Super awkward, uncomfortable and very disappointing!

Such fantastic potential if the A/C’s are upgraded

The beds are comfortable and the rooms are cozy

The air conditioning unit was so loud it kept me up most of the night when it kicked on. The room was hot so turning it off was not an option

Thank the front desk for taking money off the bill but extremely tired

The door would not lock the tub would not drain the toilet works on and off the air conditioning was like sleeping next to a plane taking off. Turned it off just to sweat and try to sleep.

Great option close to the Winnipeg airport - comfortable and restful

We had a very pleasant stay at the Sandman Hotel. The location is very near to the airport which is convenient for a 1-night stay when arriving late to Winnipeg. The room was very clean and comfortable, the beds were very comfortable. Good wifi connection and very nice hotel personnel.

Dissapointed. I learned to be careful with sandman this trip. No problems before.

Staff were top notch trying to do their best in a property I will never stay again. Old, tired, outdated rooms. This was advertised on booking.com as a signature location - it is not. Black marks for Sandman I am afraid.

Tried calling for wake up call. Line busy for 20 minutes. Had to walk down to desk for assistance. What if someone was in trouble? All lines were busy.

Proximity to the airport. Denny's and another restaurant in the same complex. Friendly and courteous reception staff. Clean, safe, and affordable accommodation.

Construction noise before 8am during our stay.

Heat in the room extremely hot. I told girl when checking out they could have sent someone to turn on air conditioner to cool room. Will do next time, if necessary.stay was good.

I like the location and restaurants

I was extremely disappointed with the price almost double what I'm used to paying at this hotel that I have stayed at for many years as a Frequent overseas traveler I was extremely disappointed with The rude people that had moved in next door and across the hall from me that was a group of people together they thought it was very convenient for them to have their conversations outside of my door in the hall From 10:30 PM until 4 o'clock AM even though they were asked by me and night manager didn't stop ! Giving me absolutely no rest for 22 hour flight. I'm afraid after this last stay that I will consider looking for another hotel

Great location for an early morning flight

location was perfect, near the airport and zoo, shops for food only 200m down the road. 15 min taxi to down-town.

room was dusty, you had to advise everyday if you wanted your room cleaned. noting that covid is now something of the past, i expected that the room would be cleaned as a standard service rather than still requesting the "contact".

I would probably stay there again but the hot water issue was frustrating.

The location was convenient. The room was a good size. Comfortable bed

Little to no hot water on one occasion. Even with the tap turned all the way to hot the water was lukewarm at best. This occurred 4 of the 6 days we were there. The front desk said it was a boiler issue.
