Stayed at Melrose many times before, but doubt will stay again.

Location, room size

Bad shower, waiting for 4-5 minutes for the hot water to get hot, no European plugs, at least one. When the room was being cleaned the cleaning staff was constantly removing my appliances the were charging and accurately putting them in the drawer - as a result coming back I had to charge them, rather than use. Also, every day all my toiletries were put back in my toiletries bag - not big issue to remove them again, but why doing that?

Ohne Frühstück empfehlenswert

Hotel in zentraler Lage. Zimmer geräumig.

Includiertes Frühstück je nach Auswahl völlig überteuert. Personal zum Frühstück sehr schwerfällig, der Service entsprach nicht dem eines 4-Sterne-Hotels. Fitnessraum gut ausgestattet.

Wonderful First Time Stay in Washington

Location , customer service, comfortably, all top of the line , very comfortable bed, and pillows . Great safe neighborhood. Very close to affluent Georgetown, with lots of restaurants and shops . Leslie from the Front Desk was exceptional, I do hope the Hotel Management know they have a gem on their Team !!

Excelente opción cerca de Georgetown

Excelente ubicación y personal muy amable. Mención especial merece Leslie de recepción que siempre está dispuesta a ayudar y resolver de la mejor manera. Es nuestro hotel cada vez que visitamos Washington DC y seguirá siéndolo.

Bad hotel no security cameras we have been robbed from the hotel staff, and they entered our room with their keys and stole my laptop and phone and many expensive gifts cost over 3000$ and they didn’t care we called the police, and they are under investigation don’t go there

Very clean, very nice staff and wonderful location.

We had an issue with our toilet, and had to ask the front desk twice to fix it. Eventually, we had to fix the toilet ourselves by taking off the top.

Very comfortable rooms and great value from money. Walking distance from all the sights.

The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. One night we didn't even leave the hotel because it was so nice to stay there.

Overall our stay was great. We would stay again.

I liked how big the room was.

The temperature in the room was too hot. The cost of breakfast and dinner was too much. Would like an ice machine.

Overall could the increase in the bill was a real damper.

Excellent staff and service. Good location within walking distance of shopping and restaurants.

They charged a $15 a day historic landmark charge that was unexpected. It should be listed on all independent booking sites. I stayed there 5 nights so it increased my bill $75. That was not anticipated

We loved our stay in this hotel. Room were huge and very nicely decorated. Everything was up to standard. Location pretty good, not too far from tourists spot. If they could include breakfast, would make this hotel excellent. We enjoyed our stay nevertheless.

Booking.com took one hour to explain over the phone why average room rate increases after cancelling final night. Also, booking.com didn’t show the room rate per night while making the reservation or in the receipt.
