Dirty, poor service, will not stay again

The location was good.

There was no bell hop to help with luggage. The sheets were torn and dirty and stained - staff didn’t fix issue when a complaint was made. We booked a city view king and were given a Queen and were told we would not be charged for the king, however we still were (we were moved to King the next day instead - which was a hassle with a baby!). We asked for a crib and then pack and play multiple times and were promised that it would be delivered but it never was. It didn’t seem like we were staying in a well established hotel but rather a motel.

Disappointing and expensive.

Location was good. Swimming pool when available was great.

The computer systems were not functioning so it took approx 45mins to check in. Occupied rooms were being allocated and a number of complaints were being made. The swimming pool had limited opening times, breakfast was not included and the restrooms in the lobby area had no toilet roll.

Very handy to spend time with my daughter and her boyfriend who lived within 10 minutes walk, but felt very overpriced f

Location, near to family and to others facilities.

Expensive for what it was. The system of paying sales tax then tip on top is frustrating to an outsider. There was no price list in the gift shop so extras were much more expensive than anticipated. Buffet breakfast was typically not hot enough. Room was not cleaned on 2 occasions and never very thoroughly.

Ideal location right in the middle of Ballston with easy access to the Metro

The hotel location and facilities were excellent. Right across the street from many restaurants and shops. A block from the Metro. The hotel restaurant was just right, low key but everything you needed and wasn't overpriced. The bartenders were fantastic! The valet was very convenient (but VERY pricey). The gym was outstanding! Clean and well equipped. Safe neighborhood.

I wouldn't say the room was the best ever; it was a bit outdated and could use some upgrading. Fairly small, lots of street noise and we could hear our neighbors through the walls. Only one bottle of water was provided and not even each day.

My stay was lovely, and I'll try to book here again another time!

My friend loved the room at a lot, and as long as she was happy with it I was verrry happy with it. Plus, the hotel was big enough for me to explore around at night when she fell asleep

I wish the breakfast lasted longer. I could never make it from 7AM to 8AM

I really enjoyed my stay, but not till later when I noticed my account has been charged twice for the stay. I used booking.com to reserve the room and had paid everything up front. However the hotel still charged it again on my card on file. I tried to contact the number and to my surprise, no one even picked up. I even googled to make sure I got the right number but still no luck. I finally reached out to booking.com for helps. It passed 5 days and still no response from the hotel. Booking.com eventually refunded the money for me. However I'm still shocked at how the big chain hotel does business.
