We like that we weren’t disturbed by housekeeping each day.
Comfortable beds
The day we arrived we had dinner at the one restaurant in the hotel food was good. We asked the host how late they serve breakfast the next morning we were told until 1:00pm when in fact when we went down for a late breakfast they were no longer serving it. The piece of paper in the rms also says breakfast served until 1:00pm I believe it said everyday or on weekends it was a Thursday. Our plan for the day was messed up due to incorrect info from the host as we had to search for another restaurant that served late breakfast we found one 5 blocks away.

Great hotel, Great staff
The staff greeted us with efficiency and friendliness. Each interaction with staff was really welcoming and kind. Thank you so much Gabby! Arriving to our room it felt like we were the only ones on the whole floor. Complimentary bottled water was in the room, the TV was easy to navigate, the soaps and shampoos supplied smelled delightful to me. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. There were lots of little details we were very happy with. We found it easy to walk to breakfast both of the mornings we were there. Underground parking was extra, but not overpriced. FYI- We did choose to pay directly to the parking garage over the weekend, as the weekend rates are very reasonable. We ordered takeout for the room from the Wood and Paddle, that is attached to the hotel. Just a burger, fries, salad and crème brûlée - all excellent.
While the lighting was nice for ambience, it wasn’t great for doing makeup at all. There was a long mirror to use inside the closet system but it was also was blocked in shadow. I wish there was a way to turn up the light in the bathroom when you would like to. I would not have wanted to be getting ready for a special event with this lighting. Falling asleep at night was disturbed by people being disruptive on the street below. Of course this is not the hotels fault, but I was surprised I could hear this so clearly despite being 10 floors up- there were people screaming loudly (assuming these ones were either high or mentally unwell) a few times every day and night. This did make me hesitant to venture out for a walk instead of in a car, but we just paid attention as we walked around each day. The hotel does have safety precautions in place, as an example you can only use the elevator with your key card.
