Great value for money

The location was great as it was a walking distance to the center where I was having a training. The hotel was nice and the stuff was wonderful. The breakfast could be a bit more diverse and healthier (if possible).

The only thing that I didn't like it was the breakfast on Monday morning. I would really appreciate a bit healthier options. But besides that everything was great.

We really enjoyed the hotel. Perfect location fantastic breakfast and wonderful staff

We loved the location the staff, the breakfast, the friendliness. Also everything was very clean

We didn’t like the constant blocking of the toilet, and the mattress could’ve been more comfortable

Location and service were good.

Breakfast could be improved. There should be more options as after few days, the breakfast gets boring.

Good gym and pool. Reasonable selection for breakfast.

The room felt quite shabby and needs a refurb. It was probably cleaner than it looked. Water failed to drain away whilst taking a shower. Which means you finish up standing in dirty water.

The floor in the room was gross, sticky in several different spots. Air conditioner was loud!

The stay was exceptional for the price and close to many amazing San Diego attractions.

First, all of the staff were amazing. They were accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was great. It has been a while since I’ve had an included breakfast that offered as much as the Country Inn. The food was amazing at the Fireside Inn and very reasonably priced. We ended up choosing to eat there a second time after such delicious food (chicken quesadilla is recommended). The bar and bartender was also great. Very friendly. Finally, we were 20 minutes from all the attractions we wanted to visit.

I really could not think about anything bad. We were initially a little worried about an outside pool, but ended up loving it.

I won’t stay there again. Not terrible but I definitely have stayed at better hotels for that price.

Free parking was a big plus. The location was not too bad, in a nice area surrounded by companies but very far from the downtown and beaches.

The room was less than great. The bed was poorly made when we got there. Carpet looked filthy. Bathroom was clean but the tub was a mess and water didn’t go down properly. Complementary breakfast was basic and kinda mediocre.

the property was very clean and well taken care of! the breakfast was great and staff was extremely nice every time I talked to someone. Very peaceful, not super close to the road and a nice environment. would stay again!

Heated pool Older building, but clean Free breakfast was good

Bathroom did not have a vent so room was humid, On check out date housekeeping knocked on my door three times before ten am to see if we had checked out already even though I told her we would be leaving at ten am the first time she knocked and check out time was not until 12 noon

Very good stay overall. Would stay again

The breakfast was really good and the bar/restaurant was extremely convenient and good. The king suite was a nice size and the staff was great.

The a/c in the room was not convenient, as it would read the room temp incorrectly and shut off after running for only 5-10 minutes, so you had to keep pressing it to keep it on.

Superb

I liked the great vibes the staff had, friendly without overwhelming. The room was very clean and the bed super comfortable. Great shower. Breakfast choices were good, although I would have preferred plain yogurt rather that fruit yogurt, and whole wheat bread rather than white.

A couple things, one is the lack of light at the entrance from the street-even the second night we came in it was hard to see where to turn! The second thing was the housekeeping staff were ready to clean our room before we were; a simple sign to hang on the door would do the trick.
