Posizione ottima nel cuore di little italy. Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Struttura pulita.

The location of this hotel is excellent. Easy walking distance to restaurants, baseball stadium, and the water. It is cheap to get here from the airport or to the lovely San Diego Zoo via rideshare.
The window A/C blew directly on the head of the bed but I stacked some pillows to mitigate the flow.

Location. Location. Location - Little Italy. This is our go-to hotel when visiting San Diego. Close walk to everything In Little Italy. Easy walk to the Embarcadero & all it has to offer. Blocks from Trolly stop. Hallways always smell great. Newly remodeled. Friendly/helpful staff.

It was very clean and comfortable. Staff was super friendly. I liked that I could walk to many different restaurants.
There wasn't a continental breakfast, but the price for the room was great so I think that's why.
I got flashed when I was walking around Little Italy. That's not the hotels fault, but rather the location.

Parcheggio a pagamento nemmeno vicino.
Per la restituzione della caparra abbiamo fatto i salti mortali, chiedendo l’intervento di Booking.

Location is great, it’s in middle of Little Italy!
The room had a smell of dampness & shower head was mouldy.
7.0 / 10.0
The staff was nice and the location was good.
1. The toilet handle needs replacing in room 202. Toilet Barely flushed anything. And the hotel has to know this because the beige tank and white base were obviously 2 separate toilets at one time.
2. The sink drained slowly and obviously needs Draino. If housekeeping cleans this , you'd think they would know.
3. The bed was super hard. And I couldn't sleep right and woke up sore.
4. Their website says there's coffee and tea in each room with the coffee maker. But there was only one coffee pod next to a bottle of water that obviously had been refilled since there was no safety seal when I opened it. But the worse was the coffee maker itself. I made the one cup and the coffee was so bad and bitter that obviously that single serve unit had never been properly cleaned out. Really bad.
5. It is a really tiny room and not really comfortable for 2 people.
Finally, I thought the staff were nice and hotel was nice to look at. But not good with the amenities. They charge you $24 to parks blocks down but the parking lot says $20 when you leave. And their website says 12:00 noon is checkout, but it's actually 11:00am. The person at the desk says they haven't gotten around to correcting it. Also, their website says LARGE tv. Should say SMALL TV.

Location was great, we walked to restaurants and to the pier. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. There was an elevator which was great because we were on the 4th floor. The staff at the front desk let us leave our luggage there while we walked around the pier and city since our plane didn't leave until later in the day. The front desk person also gave us good information on where to go to get a good breakfast and gave us several options.
The in-room coffee was not good.

The location is awesome so many restaurants in the area within walking distance. And the staff is friendly, nice, and helpful. Definitely would come back here if I'm back in San Diego. It's a great place to stay if you're gonna be doing a lot of sightseeing.

We really liked the hotel's location in Little Italy with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel is also within walking distance from the train station and even the airport (although this is a bit of a stretch) and many places around the city, such as Balboa Park and the Waterfront. The hotel's staff were great! They were very polite and greeted us every time we passed from reception. The room was also clean and on the cheap side compared to other places around the city.
The room was a bit small without much space to move around, especially considering that we had two big suitcases and it was difficult to open them comfortably. I also found the bed to be too high and the black-out curtains couldn't fully close so it was bright in the morning. The sink was outside the bathroom in the same area as the bed, which I didn't like initially but it wasn't a big issue in the end. The bathroom wasn't great but at least it was functional. Lastly, there was a lot of noise from the bathroom extractor when it was turned on, and minimal noise from outside otherwise.

Great location, friendly staff, allowed
dogs, and decent corner room with windows. nice to have a refrigerator and microwave.
Not super clean, parking a challenge even with the garage a few blocks away, abrasive toilet paper, and cluttered hallways.

Location was perfect for a food connoisseur, or anyone looking to visit the Maritime Museum or USS Midway Museum. In terms of the hotel room, basic. facilities, but please read the rest of this review!
Bathroom way too small, no venting in bathroom, towels were not able to be dried, noisy room with window into central void carrying noise from a local restaurant. Lift was usually blocked by housekeeping very large linen basket, only one baggage trolley. Stay in room was interrupted by maintenance apparently being carried out, albeit no evidence of any maintenance having been carried out after allotted time. Several notices received under door in relation to the need for the room for a 3 hour window in the middle of the day, no pre warning about tis prior to checking in! Inconvenient and I think this is a tactic to gain entry into room with our belongings in there. I question what actually happened in our hotel room during this 3 hour period. The parking is not onsite, it is a ten minute walk!! Drop off in front of hotel is difficult with only one baggage trolley and limited short time stay to removed bags and get them up to the room. We will not be returning and not recommending this hotel to anyone.

Super location in Little Italy, yet quiet. Clean room. Front desk staff pleasant and helpful.
Room on 4th floor was hot despite weather being cool, aircon very noisy. Bed way too high. Asked for room to be serviced on third day; bed was made, bins emptied but no replacement of shampoo/body wash (we had used it all) and left us with no bathmat! Also strange to be provided with one bottle of water when the room was occupied by two people.

I accidentally left a pair of glasses in the room. I called the hotel desk, and they mailed the item to me, were very efficient about it. The location is great. Nice that there is a microwave, coffeepot and fridge. People at the desk were very pleasant. The location is fabulous. I no longer drive, but was a block away from the trolley and in the midst of Little Italy—just about the best neighborhood in downtown San Diego, now that Horton Plaza is no more and Fifth Avenue is a disaster with homeless people lying in the streets where good restaurants, conventioneers and tourists used to be.
I stayed there a couple of years ago, and the place seems to me to have gone seriously downhill. The drain In the shower was clogged, seems like it hadn’t been cleaned for 100 years. Every time I used the shower I all but flooded the room. I reported it, and nothing was done. The lighting in the room is awful. . .no place to put on makeup and see what you are doing. What a shame! The location is perfect. I would not stay there again. I had recommended it to a friend of a friend based on my previous experience at Urban Boutique. I’m embarrassed that I did so.

The location was absolutely perfect with free parking right outside. The room itself was very cosy and exactly what we needed. In the evening, we simply stepped outside the hotel right into Little Italy and had some of the most amazing food! It felt incredibly safe with a really great vibe! When we checked out in the morning we were given coupons for free coffee next door which was a very nice touch! If we came back to SD we would definitely look to stay here.
Honestly there was nothing to fault.

An old building that needs more TLC. It's in a great location; good value; metal in bed frame makes too much noise; bathroom acceptable.

Location was great, walking distance from Waterfront park. We stayed here for CRSSD music festival
Rooms were a little small. It’s okay though
Didn’t spend too much time at the hotel

Great position in the heart of Little Italy, plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood but the street is very quiet.
Relatively close ( 25' walking or 15' via MTS trams) to the Gaslamp and the Convention Center.
Friendly staff, 24/7 accessibility and easy check-in/check-out procedures.
Complimentary coffee bags were in the room on my arrival but new ones were apparently given randomly, not daily.
