Glad I’m out of there! Horrible!

There was no bedding for the sleeper sofa. Floors were full of sand, sheets on bed were not clean. Worst of all was the elevator wait most times at least 30 minutes. I would never stay here again or recommend it. I called for bedding and towels numerous times and never got anything. Horrible. They will go out of business if they don’t do something about the elevators. There were lots of pissed off guests.

Had a nice stay. Would make a reservation again.

The room was very nice and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. The location was excellent for our travel. Must agree the temperature of the room was set at a very comfortable temperature.

There was a problem with the refrigerator. The temperature was inside was not cold. No way to turn it up. We had to put our food in the freezer to get them cold. The other dislike was the elevators. With the fast elevator down we were having to wait sometimes 20 min or more for one elevator to arrive. Especially at check out day.

Good location and decent resort amenities, the particular unit was not clean.

We’re locals to Panama City, we rented the condo for 2 nights to watch the air show. The location was perfect for that. The kids enjoyed the beach and pool as well. This particular unit 1902 came with beach chair service so that was nice to have.

The cleanliness of unit 1902 was horrible, there is just no other word for it. Sand on the floor throughout so had to vacuum, all counter surfaces and tables have an oily film on them. The floor was the dirtiest I’ve ever seen, within 5 minutes of having our shoes off inside all of our feet were filthy. We had to stop unpacking and wash our feet immediately, then we wore sandals the entire time inside. The grout is black, this hasn’t seen a steam clean in years. Just not a good feeling to have about a place right when you arrive. Honestly this is why I never rent through single owners, the nicer hotel chains have a better cleaning system. But in this particular instance there was no hotel in the location needed. The resort itself has good amenities and I’m sure there are other units that are kept to a higher standard but this one was not.

Great, peaceful, and love the beachfront balcony view.

The price for our lunch/dinner was too much just for 3 burger meals at the wave, which total $64.99. Wouldn't eat there for that price, ate elsewhere around the same amount with more food and leftover to take back to the room.

Nice Visit

The apartment was very nice and comfortable.We found everything that we needed.

What I didn't like was that there was a small flat screen TV in the bedroom but a big flat screen TV in the living room.The elevators took forever to come down to the floor we were on.

It would have been great if I had had clean bedding…. Or could at least obtain clean bedding.

The property was very pretty. Guests have access to multiple activities.

When we were going to bed at 10:00 pm, we pulled back the blanket on our first night, and the sheets had not been cleaned. There were a few brown spots, sequins, hairs, and the plastic part of a tag still in the sheets, so they were definitely not changed prior to our stay. I was going to change the sheets, but the additional linens in the closet (meant for the sofa bed) were also soiled. I contacted the help number on the app to get clean linens. After 45 minutes, they said they would send staff with clean linens. After two hours (it’s now midnight), my husband called and they told him there was nothing they could do and they couldn’t bring clean linens until morning but I could wash them in the washing machine. I had already used the detergent to wash towels (This was our first night, so I hadn’t gone to the store to get detergent yet). Also- on your first night of vacation… do you want to wash dirty bedding that you never slept in? Also… for the price… (and it was MIDNIGHT). We ended up leaving in the middle of the night to go somewhere else. Also… I think there is some dishonesty because my review is not posted on their Vacasa website.

We loved the closeness to the beach and it was very clean in the room. Being able to text the staff questions we had was also very nice.

It took forever to wait on an elevator. Most people were waiting 45 minutes. I ended up taking the stairs at checkout which wasn’t the best idea because I have back issues. Also the king size bed was definitely used and my husband and I had trouble sleeping on it. We also kept hitting our legs on the corners of it due to a table being right by the corner of the bed so it left little walk room. The staff was so wonderful except the the ones that worked in the little store with the Starbucks. We went there twice and both times our drink was made wrong and when asked for it to be corrected we got very rude attitudes and had to just take it the way it was. We also weren’t fond of not being able to go back to the beach when checkout was at 10. We ended up having to go to a public beach access point with our kids and didn’t feel safe. We do feel like you should be able to stay longer on checkout day so you can spend a little bit more time at the beach and then shower before returning home.

Great location. Beach access was perfect. Close to the pier and activities to do. Apartment style was nice as a larger family with a kitchen.

Access to the elevators was terrible. We do know they are working on them but people were so rude about getting on & off- the pools weren’t heated and the ocean wasn’t open to swim for 3 days bc of rip tides so it was a little disappointing my kids didn’t get to swim much at all on their spring break. Lots of underage drinking & large groups of unsupervised underage kids on spring break. Appeared clean upon arrival but the floors were not cleaned, there were dirty dishes found on a window sill in the bedroom- pans in the kitchen need to be updated & had to be cleaned before we used them.

It is advertised as upscale and definitely not upscale but very mediocre. The outdoor pool was not heated. The elevator doors were filthy and not cleaned during the stay. The unit itself was in great need of updates.

We loved staying at Tidewater Beach Resort ! The location is great and was a very safe and nice facility , very clean , and we enjoyed every bit of our trip .The staff was very nice and friendly , we will definitely stay here again :)

The elevators were slow , but that was the only bad thing , all the good definitely out way the one negative :)

Beachfront and well maintained apartment. Loved it.

Room was clean and neatly arranged. The location was superb. Ocean view was awesome and we loved being on beach front as we could spend as much time as possible on the beach. The indoor warm pool was added advantage and kids loved it. The beach chair was included as part of the apartment booking which was amazing.

Only negative thing is wait time for the elevators. Sometimes it felt like was waiting for the elevator from ages. We almost missed reaching the Dolphin tour boat location on time because we almost waited for 15+ minutes to get into the elevator.

Die Aussicht und die geräumige Wohnung.

Das „Restaurant“, genannt Grill und Bar, spottet jeder Beschreibung. Die wenigen, vergleichsweise günstigen Gerichte sind ungenießbar. Nach der Buchung sowie während und nach dem Aufenthalt erhält man unzählige SMS und Mails, um unter anderem, die Unterkunft zu bewerten. Das hört auch Tage danach und trotz eindeutiger Rückantwort nicht auf. Ich habe bislang hier mindestens 40 solcher Nachrichten bekommen… Nervt unglaublich.

I so loved the view. The pools are NOT heated so if you want to swim know you may be cold!! Shotty unit.

the unit 1007 was NOT well cared for and the dresser was broke. The front door took 2 days for maintenance to arrive and wouldn’t shut properly. Old carpet so the threads would sometimes cut your feet.

Not anywhere near worth the money. We will not be back, nor will we book anything with Vacasa.

Unit was comfy and clean. Appreciated occasional elevator security.

Staff was disrespectful and sullen, including the boy with the carts. I specifically asked for a unit away from the elevator, but was given one right across the hall from the elevator. Staff said they could do nothing about it until the next day, as Vacasa ordered that unit for us. We were only staying one night. Air conditioning and fans were noisy, especially the air conditioner.

The Pros and the Cons of Tidewater Beach Resort

The room was nice and spacious. The beds were comfortable. Good location. The view was nice.

Bed wasn't made all the way, the fitted sheet kept coming off the mattress. Cockroachs in the room. Dirty windows. Dirty dishes and silverware. Hair in the shower. Dirty floors. Lint from laundry in-between bed sheets. Cockroachs in pool. Smells really bad by the tiki bar. Employees very unhappy and unfriendly to guests. Very hot in some of the elevators. Too dark by the pools when gets dark out.
