Exceptional

All staff was super friendly and accommodating. The fact that we were able to check in early (for the kids to swim after hours of driving) was so nice!

Not a complainer but could have been cleaner.

The staff is nice and very helpful.

We had 3 rooms 1 was basically dirty, hair all over in the bathroom floor and tub, bed sheets looked dirty and used. The other 2 rooms were very dusty I could draw on the desk and tv If I wanted to. This is absolutely not what I expect when I pay top dollars for my stay. Pool area is getting old and luck of repairs. Out of 3 pool 2 were not working. Dirt and big chunks of hair all over in the pool. Hot tub was cold other hot tub didn’t work. I am a returning guest been here 3 times before and a bit surprised that it’s getting run down.

I found a cookie, that wasn’t mine on the base of a lamp. it was disbursing. The hot tubs were cold.

Very good

The beds were comfortable. The hotel was close to downtown. It had 2 Jacuzzis! The room was a good size compared to others I stayed in at Lake Placid.

The room had a mildew smell to it and carpeting felt moist. Other than that, everything was fine.

Clean hotel, close to centre city but out of the busy section, Room had a fridge and comfortable bed. Hotel has a fitness room; Heated pool and 2 hot tubs, nice grounds with outside sitting areas. complimentary popcorn and flavored water. Staff was friendly

no microwave in room, no safe, no complimentary breakfast

Reasonable price for a good room if visiting Lake Placid.

Room was clean and location was great for a few days skiing at Whiteface. Parking was free and easy. Access to complimentary hot chocolate / hot cider and fruit for Marriott Rewards members was a nice perk.

The swimming area needed a lot of work. One hot tub was out of commission and the rest of the place was falling apart a bit - missing tiles, missing pieces of seats, not clean. Carpeting was dated as well.

Good experience overall

The staff was friendly, and would answer questions about local attractions. We stayed on a weekend they got 24 inches of snow and the parking lot was well maintained. Far enough away from the main strip to avoid the crazy traffic of Empires weekend, but close enough to walk(weather permitting) or a very short drive,

The description said there was a bar and restaurant on site, which is true, but it is not open. They do open the area for breakfast, but there are not a ton of options, and I found it to be a little pricey. I miss continental breakfasts! The hot tubs were also out of order for our stay.

An acceptable corporate chain hotel. Staff was very nice, and lobby was pretty.

The breakfast was overpriced for what was offered.

The coffee machines in the rooms are tiny, flimsy, and tucked away in the room in inconvenient spots. Only extra dark roast coffee was made available, with a stingy 2 packets of creamer and two packets of sugar accompanying 4 coffee pods. At nearly $400 dollars a night, where breakfast is not included, a more sufficient coffee basket in each room, shouldn't be too much to ask.

$509 room lol Arrived- odor of marijuana in lobby ; stepped into room and still had smoke in the air, awful this must be the party room, asked for a new room, employee said no problem, moved to new room , freezing, heat didn’t work, blood stain on sheets w bunch of hair all over, grossed out, packed up and left. Appears to be more of a hangout these days

Satisfactory, but a bit below expectations.

Nice enough room, quiet location, ample parking

First floor view-less room for a bit too much money. The hotels closer to town center aren’t too different in price (didn’t have availability). Our room ended up too close to the lobby/courtyard, I guess, because we were hearing loud conversations and banging(?) until past midnight.

Overall the stay was perfect. Very enjoyable! Friendly staff made all the difference!

Location was great. Staff was super helpful.

Rooms were a little small.. but still nice. Would have liked regular cleaning of room. Better coffee- Breakfast should be included with the price.

Good location out of the congested area of town. Front desk personable/friendly.
