Cheap stay worth the money

We were here only for the Megadeth gig and the location was perfect for us. Also good breakfast, big rooms and cheap stay.

It took some time to figure out something about our reservation, but otherwise all good

The hotel staff was excellent but booking.com can be confusing with many fees and separate rates.

The day I registered for the hotel the link I clicked on had a rate of $158 per day and the receipt I received had another rate of $177 and an address for Amsterdam,NL. I am not sure how this occurred but it is of great concern and caused me be fearful that ID theft may have occurred. My credit card has two charges $50 and $460.60. The receipt I received by email has $410.60. We decided to use booking.com to find the best rate and it's very concerning that ID theft may have occurred due to the amounts and addresses not known to us.

The rate I chose at booking .com had $158 per day and the rate I saw on my final receipt shows $177 per day. The amounts were different on my credit card statement. I see an amount for $460.60 and $50. The email I received a day prior to travel has $410.60. The address on my receipt say Amsterdam and I live in the USA and never lived anywhere outside of the USA. This is very alarming with so much ID theft.

Nice place , decent breakfast I’d recommend .

Location was the reason we chose this place . They advertised walking distance to concert venue . However , the area had no sidewalks for pedestrians. Walkable ? Yes . Advisable ? No. They should consider rephrasing that .

When we checked in the room the bed wasn’t made . When I told them they gave us a different room . Not a huge deal

Decent hotel for a night but wouldn’t stay longer than that

It was secluded but still close to a major highway so easy to get around.

Outside is definitely outdated and because it’s so secluded, made it feel a little sketchy.

Had to come home to get rest

The rooms were nice size

The pool wasn’t working and the people above us was loud in the middle of the night my husband had to go to the front desk 4 times to get them to quiet down

Great location! Nice room!

Location to the amphitheater was perfect and within walking distance. The room was exceptional, very nice, clean and well stocked. I could easily live there.

There was no mattress pad 🤮 and the hallways and elevator are filthy. The carpets in the hallways need cleaned badly or disposed of and the elevator is just gross

Very good

It is located within walking distance of the concert venue which is why we chose it. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are spacious.

Breakfast was mediocre but as expected for a continental breakfast. Our door was a bit wore and did not shut well and we had to pull/push to make sure it shut well.

Convenient to Hollywood amphitheater

Air conditioning worked very well in the room. Spacious room as we had a king suite

The pool was closed. In the room the bathroom was not cleaned. Floor was very sticky and there was used soap in the soap dish and someone’s else’s body wash on the tub. The floor behind the door was so dirty.

Welcome to Hell

Absolutely horrible property, staff and facilities

Air conditioning was broke staff refused room change or refund despite AC not cooling. Room was a consistent 77 degrees. We ended up checking out after a few hours (trying to give air conditioner time to cool room) and made the 4 hour drive home in the middle of the night. Staff was hateful dismissive and rude. Told us if we had an issue we could dispute the charge with our bank but they would not issue a refund because they could not resell the room. 0/10 DO NOT STAY HERE. Did I mention it was 286$ a night? What a joke!

Did not feel secure & was dirty; would not recommend.

Continental breakfast was good.

Check in was a mess, multiple people were assigned incorrect/occupied rooms. Staff did not seem the least bit worried about the security of the peoples belongings based on these incorrect assignments. Was told that they were just busy turning over rooms from the night before and based on conversation with another staff member, it seemed this happened often. Hotel itself was very dingy & dirty; stairs haven't seen a vacuum in some time; our suite had dirt/dead flies in all corners of the room(s), cobwebs and was in general not clean.

Breakfast was okay

Room was “cleaned” but like it was done by a 12 year old that didn’t care. Stunk really bad and they had glade plug ins throughout the room…so they knew it stunk. Website shows pool for an amenity then you get there and see a sign that it is closed indefinitely…false advertising.

It was not worth the money.

Upon arrival found out pool was closed indefinitely. This was a birthday celebration and I intentionally picked a hotel with a pool. This information should be listed somewhere. Bathroom door lock was broken and I had the ask for sheets and make the pull out bed myself. Room does not have room darkening blinds and the sun comes in the first thing. I was also disappointed when they charged me full price for the room and I had to argue with them about them honoring my booking.com price.

Overall this place was comfortable for my family.

The breakfast was ok, there was hot food instead of continental, you just need to get down there early before the food and juice run out. I liked that the hotel had a social event in the lobby for guest even though we kept missing it. It was a nice idea though. The hotel is close to the air port, and it was quiet.

It would be nice to have breakfast extended until 10 am or 9:30, people like to sleep in on vacation. I didn't like that the pool was closed, the website did not say the pool was closed indefinitely, I felt a little deceived. I picked this location specifically for the pool. The heat went out in my room twice. There was also a little left over trash behind the couch that house keeping missed.

I was charged twice for the room and when I tried to contact hotel discuss this I was told they did not double charge and they was nothing they could do. I had to contact the main hotel customer service line and finally was told yes they did charge me twice and that my money would be refunded. Very long process and not happy with the customer service check in/check out process. If I hadn't gone above the receptionist there I would have not gotten my money back. Very disappointing. Room otherwise was great and clean.

Overall the stay was great. A couple of minor hiccups but I would stay at the Homewood again.

The staff were very kind and helpful overall. Diner service is something I’ve never seen at a hotel before, but it was the highlight of the stay. All the food was delicious, and we were very surprised to find out the beer and wine selections were included in the diner service. The rooms were large for a hotel and the kitchenette was a neat add.

There were a couple of items left from the previous occupants in our room like a paper plate on the floor and a couple of streamers probably from a party. The bathroom could’ve used a vent to control humidity but was otherwise decent. The pool was closed at the time of our stay but that’s ok it wasn’t a damper on the trip.
