comfortable beds, cleanliness is OK, the location is good, it suited us for our needs.

Grateful I chose Homewood suites. Perfect location, safe, and staff were great!

The location and staff were great. Felt very comfortable. I regularly saw a security guard monitoring the premises. Felt safe and very quiet at night.

Wish there was better lighting in the kitchen area and a bigger trash can. There were only 2 very small trash cans in the kitchen.

I loved the location and my hotel room was clean! Comfortable bed.

The Location

The hotel reap of old cigarette smoke.. the pool was closed on our 1st night stay because someone got sick, my hotel room refrigerated made a loud unbearable noise to the point where we had to unplug it. My room had a terrible odor. Checked out and never received a receipt.

It was a very nice stay, and the staff are what made the stay exceptional.

Breakfast was good with a good assortment of selections.The staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming! The rooms were nice and spacious with easy access.

Sometimes the coffee was not hot. A few areas of the property could be updated. The tub in our bathroom was in need of replacing.

This is a Hilton property? They should be ashamed.

The front desk staff were friendly. They offered us another room but we did not think the other room would be any cleaner because of the overall cleanliness of the facility.

Homewood Suites Newport was disgustingly dirty. Too many things to be able to complete my list but a few examples include: mold in the shower including growing up the walls, something bit my leg while I was standing on the carpet, the floors in the kitchenette were sticky. I was concerned about bed bugs but I didn’t want to check under the mattress.

There were pros and cons to our stay as mentioned above

Staff was very friendly and helpful; the breakfast each morning was good with lots of choices; the room was large and the bed was comfortable

we had small bugs in the room (thank goodness nothing in the bed) which was reported to the staff; an exterminator came the next day to spray the room - however we still found small bugs the next day; to be fair, the manager offered another room but we were on our way to a funeral and didn't have time to move suitcases, hanging clothes, toiletries. etc.; also the manager discounted the rate for our room

I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely refer family and friends.

We family and I loved the variety of breakfast choices that were offered. I loved the decor in the rooms and the comfort of the mattress which really gives you a good night's sleep.

The breakfast menu on Saturday morning. But everything can't be perfect.

Rooms were clean, breakfast was almost perfect (I'm lactose intolerant and really wanted some milk) and the staff was very friendly. Loved the late check-out time, even though we had to leave earlier.

The dishwasher was full of dishes, so I either had to wash dishes by hand or put them away to reload.... not trying to do either on vacation, especially at $250 a night. Only one chair for dining, so that's not really convenient. The ice bucket was missing, as was the trash can in the kitchen, but that's just minor stuff. The location and comfort made up for it.

We genuinely enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious & exactly what we needed.

My husband & I traveled to Va to bring in the New Year with family & friends. This was the perfect location, less than 10 minutes from family. So everyone came to our room. The staff was very pleasant, the one lady was stunning! She looked the part for the occasion. The size of our room accommodated everything we needed & more! The bed was very comfortable, there was a pull out sofa in the living room. Full size kitchen with all the amenities. Definitely worth the trip & price. We will be staying again…soon… real soon.

I booked it for my daughter's 21st birthday. Just her, her best friend, and myself after a night out. Beautiful place, comfortable, and the staff was so kind and professional. Everything was perfect for my daughter. I didn't want to go. It was huge. Like a 2bdr apartment.
