Not very pleasant. Definition of "throw some paint on it".

Breakfast was very good. There was a decent selection of items to choose from. The area for breakfast was the most clean portion of the hotel. There seemed to be new carpet, so it smelled clean...

Our room was muggy, we had our AC on constant fan and it never cooled down completely or was not damp. We all woke up with sore throats and stuffy noses. There was black mold in the bathroom. Paint was chipping off the walls. There was an incessant beeping noise coming from one side of the bed, the source could not be located. When we arrived back from our event there was dust all over the couch from the AC turning on and ducts not clean. The pool area was equally as poor of quality as the room. There was a sign posted in the elevator from April 22nd with a final extension notice of the elevator inspection, it cited 60 days. My travel was the 28-30...thus, it is beyond its inspection time. The owners, or family who operate the facility also reside there. You could only enter the building one way as they had the side door locked, even with a key. You could see their room was loaded with people and supplies, and they would often stand at the end of the hall looking outside. Just kind of uncomfortable. Would not stay again. I tried to message booking.com for some assistance but did not hear back. Toughed it out, but overall, unhappy.

It is a traumatic and horrible stay!!!

I canceled my booking since I find the place dodgy. the room that I booked ha SOMEONE’S bag on it that’s why I canceled. I’m not sure if somebody was using that room before me. I think that’s a valid reason to cancel Cause I don’t feel safe. But they refused to refund and offered another room! The issue is I don’t feel safe to the whole place itself. I try to call booking g but they couldn’t help about it as the property STRONGLY REFUSED TO REFUND

Pleasant stay at TiwnePlace Suites of Oshkosh

Great kitchen. Terrific breakfast. Nice pool and weight room.

Room temperature was difficult to control evenly. It would be good to have a small dinner/kitchen table for eating home-cooked meals.

Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay for the price. Don’t think I would book it again tho.

The location was excellent. Not far from the airport. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

The shower wasn’t too good. Only ice machine was on the first floor and we were on the 2nd floor. My card key wouldn’t work, so everyday I had to go back to the counter to get it reactivated. Elevator smelled of mildew as well.

I will stay here again, if the opportunity arises.

The location was exceptional, but what I really liked was how warm the people and the hotel are. Also, their breakfast was delicious. The staff pays a lot of attention to the guests, and always asked if I needed anything. The hotel atmosphere is comfy since it is a smaller hotel, but it has everything you might need.

The carpet on the room had big stains, but everything else was clean.

Great room, not so great staff.

The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked with towels and toiletries. Windows could open for fresh air. The room itself was quite spacious. Lots of outlets and USB ports. Breakfast was included but I didn't partake. I was very tired and preferred to sleep in. Noon check-out is great. (Most hotels have 11am check-out.) I was initially given a room on the ground floor but asked for a room on another floor. Staff was not difficult about making the change.

Staff does not respond to messages sent via Booking.com. You must call ahead if you need pick-up from airport. Pick-up from the airport must be arranged by phone call but there are no directions about where and when you will be picked up. The van used for pick-up seemed too have only one working set belt. Staff is friendly but incompetent. There is no signage in the hotel, e.g. elevator, vending/ice machines. AC was very noisy.

Not recommended

The room had a good size and price was ok

We asked for an airport shuttle and we're told it was not available 24h, to later find that it was, after having paid 40 dollars for a cab. The staff took over an hour to allow us into a room at 2am, was not helpful or courteous and was saying he'd charge me double because he couldn't find the reservation. The rooms were dirty and outdated and the breakfast had moldy bagels and not a lot of variety for different diets.

I like how its a cheap and still a hood hotel has a pool and jacuzzi.

Worst Hotel Stay I've Had

Decent location, breakfast was a good spread

Staff was Rude Staff wouldn't provide pillows or blankets for let out bed, furniture was cut up and dirty, bedding was dirty, no TV in living room of Suite, Staff wouldn't give extra towels, no vending, housekeeping attempted to enter room without knocking or announcing themselves, holes in walls, bed sounded like it would break at any moment, tissue/napkins under legs of furniture

Quite a secluded place. There were gangsters in the early morning where lots of police came to the property

The continental breakfast was good . The server was a very hard worker

The lobby flooring is unfinished. My mother’s Walker almost trip by the paper laying the floor.

Our stay was relaxing, and the hotel was nice to come back to at the end of each day.

The staff was fantastic, they treated me and my three kids so wonderfully. The mid/late shift gentleman was very kind and chatted with us about each day’s adventure. (Stayed the week) Breakfast every morning was something to look forward to before starting our day. My kids loved the pool, as well as myself after a long day. The rooms were clean, good sized and the beds were so nice to sink into after a long adventurous day! If/when I visit Chicago again, I will 100% choose this location for my stay!

Water pressure wasn’t fantastic, but honestly that didn’t even bother me that much. Everything was fantastic during our stay.

the pool and pool room was disgusting. Cups, bottles, and paper garbage on the wet pool floor along w the in the pool. 5 or more young children were running around, unsupervised. 1 child put the pool skimmer over my child’s head while he was in the pool! The unsupervised kids were splashing from the hot tub to the other kids outside. It was extremely uncomfortable. We came to this hotel specifically for the pool so that’s what made it more disappointing. I found long black hair in the shower and everything just looked dirty. It looked like surface level things were wiped (hopefully cleaned). There was no parking available so we had to park in the fire lane. I had to set my alarm for 6am to make sure I moved it. I didn’t feel comfortable parking my vehicle in a fire lane, but there was no where else and the front desk told me to park wherever. I suspect the kids causing havoc where employees’ children. As a single mom, I understand childcare is expensive or unreliable, but this was completely unprofessional.
