Toilet valve must have been worn as the water would refill every few min.

Was a very pleasant experience. Staff went above and beyond and we're extremely helpful.

The rooms were spacious and so comfortable.

Great hotel and would stay agsin

Size of room, staff was so kind, breakfast

Under construction so made parking very difficult. No hot tub. Price was over what was quoted.

Comforting

the staff was very friendly and helpful. we stayed through the blizzard and the staff were comforting and helpful in navigation on the way out. I’m a Texan so they were a blessing.

Simply Great!

Breakfast was simple (egg sausage sandwich, apples, coffee , cold cereal options. All we needed for grab and go.

Nothing not to like! We were pleasantly surprised by everything. The location was convenient to downtown Holland where we were attending a wedding. We had to bring our dog and we had a first floor room with easy access to all of the wide open areas to walk him around the hotel. They supplied doggie Pickup bags. We saw other dogs but never heard any barking etc during the night. Nice staff as well.

I understand charging more during the tulip festival but this facility was miles from the city. Char

Ho-Hum. Just once I'd like to see spoons usable for eating cereal not just the little kids spoons. A wrapped Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich? For $300/a night? Gimme a break

Place located within 15 to 20 minutes from all vacation spots

Room had a refrigerator to keep food. Easy to store drinks & food left overs

The security door to the building never locked. Lock non functional. Hot water limited for taking showers. Wallpaper was coming down in spots in bathroom & toilet was not secure to floor. Had ti request additional supplesplace

Overall this is a tired, unkempt property, with no amenities to commend it.

Front desk staff was friendly upon our arrival.

Visible cobwebs, dead bugs on the floor, stained and dirty upholstery, and a sagging mattress made an unfavorable impression. Pool and hot tub closed.

It was sufficient, just ok.

The layout of the room was nice.

Disappointed by the lack of warm breakfast. Many other hotels are back to full breakfasts. Also, no decaf coffee offered in breakfast gathering area. The common area hallways have loose carpet (need to be re-stretched), which is a major trip hazard! The room was skimpy on supplies and bathroom area floor grout dirty. There was no lotion. Fitness room was below standard. No weights, only two treadmills and one elliptical. I have stayed at Marriott hotels quite a bit and this was below my expectations. Overall hotel decor needs refresh.

Great staff, excellent rooms

Hotel was clean and room was great with all amenities including full size fridge and cooktop! Staff was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating.

Pool was closed and was not made know prior to booking. Because we came to celebrate my son's 5th birthday, it was a big deal. We were forced to check out early and change hotels. They did comp our night to make up.

Pleasant staff doesn’t make up for the old and outdated condition of this hotel.

We try to stay at residence inns because they have a kitchen in the room. The exercise room was clean. the staff was very willing to help!

The in room kitchen did not have a oven or stove top. the carpet was old, wrinkly and dated. the bath tub had black wear spots and epoxy repair spots. It just wasn’t up to par. None of those things are normally deal breakers but we paid $170.00 for the night and it was in $98.00 a night condition.

Beautiful hotel and Room was AWESOME!!!

EVERYTHING!!! location close to the interstate but not so close you heard cars. The room omg bigger then we was expecting!! It was super clean and very beautiful!! thanks!! Had a ground floor which I loved!! if ever in the area I would stay here again for sure!!!

Decent place to stay

The staff were friendly and helpful and responsive to requests. The property was nice, with a small patio area to sit. The patio was by the pool area aNd lower level rooms. The rooms was studio-type rooms that were spacious, wirh a full kitchen, couch, bed, desk and eating area. It was clean. The location was good, with a 15-minute drive to Saugatauck Dunes State Beach and 15 minutes to Holland State Beach and 10-15 minutes to downtown Holland.

Though this property looks mostly in good condition, it could use some room updates and some basic care. The mattress was saggy, the toilet seat did not fit the toilet properly, the pots and pans were old, the toaster didn’t work, there was no cutting board. The indoor pool area smelled funky because the hot tub was out of order and the water in it was filled with algae and moldy stuff.

When we checked in the lady at the counter was very nice and offered suggestions of things to see, places to eat and the most direct route to the downtown area.

The walls were dirty and could use a good cleaning. There was an issue with a water leak outside the room next to ours. When I called the front desk to notify them of the issue the guy answering the phone sounded bored and annoyed that I would bother him with an issue that had been going on for hours. It was still hours u til it stopped dripping from the ceiling. Nothing was done to clean up the water in the hallway.

Sharon at the front desk was awesome. We came in for the tulip time festival and Sharon was so helpful with directions and giving her input on the best places to see. We were not disappointed. Plenty of hand sanitizing at the front desk and in the rooms.

Bathroom tile grout needs updating, bathtub was stained.
