Don't bother staying in San Francisco

The location is great, right next to the Painted Ladies. The room was nice and we got it before check in time. Free coffee in the morning. The staff is really helpful and nice.

It's not so much about the hotel but San Francisco in general. We hated it. So many beggars and crazy people, cold, windy, cloudy, you can never see the bridge and every single street is a hard hill to climb. We don't recommend wasting time in San Francisco.

for a few days absolutely okay

cozy beds, good location and friendly staff. also the coffee in the morning is great!

quite outdated and a bit bad smell in the room. also it’s sometimes very noisy from the road

Good for money and good spot

The location is great, close to painted ladies and close to bus 22 which is the lane used to go from the train airport stop to the hotel. Good staff..place is clear enough..old stylebut still good. They give you hot beverage for free in the morning.

Wall aremade of paper .. it's really old and noisy. Soundproofing is really bad. I just hate moquette .

Hotel in a very good place in SF

Great localization where you can feel safe and comfy.

Lack of elevator (especially when you have heavy luggage) but it is rather small disadventage.

I enjoyed the closeness to major transportation stops

The hallways had a musty smell to them. The water pressure in the showers was awful.

Comfortable and practical location stay in SF

Room, bathroom and shower, bed, cleanliness. Loved that it had mini fridge inside the room.

Room didn’t have AC. Maybe doing the bed as part of the cleaning everyday would’ve been nice.

Perfect location, many restaurants, bars and tourists attractions within walking distance. The staff and morning coffee

the location is perfect for any tourists. The staff were super nice.

Situated in a cute Victorian San Francisco house on Fillmore Street close to Alamo Square and the Painted Ladies.

You may hear your neighbour's TV all night long and you might not always have full water pressure or hot water in the third floor's showers.

not worth it

this is basically an hostel. the room (but basically the hotel) has this bad smell, that means it hasn’t been cleaned as it should have been. in my room haven’t been changed bed linen (towels only) and trash bin haven’t been emptied. at the end I found a unfinished cigarette on the window (I don’t smoke), maybe someone from cleaning left there. this is definitely expensive for the service that it offers.
