The hotel seems new, the decoration is clean, it's super close to the main street, the beds are comfortable and there was a music event Saturday evening at the lobby. There's coffee and tea/hot chocolate available.
The reception has a weird location, anyone that is not a guest can access the facilities. They offer a breakfast (with extra cost) that I was not informed about.

The room and lobby have a great view of the lake. The hotel has a great location within the Lake Placid village. The staff was always very friendly and helpful.
Room has limited closet space and no furniture for storage. The television is not visible from the bedroom area. Rooms have very thin walls and neighbors could be noisy.

windows for our lake view had paint on them

Location is Awesome! Renovations are ongoing have a great potential going forward based on prior name Summit.
Would have been nice to have cups and ice bucket plus coffee maker. Breakfast option also a bonus based on room rates

The hotel was clean and had a zen and Adirondack feel. The hotel is still under construction on one end. The beds were comfortable but everyone's comfort level is different. They weren't overly soft or firm. The showers are nice. The staff was friendly.
It doesn't appear the hotel has been open very long. The bar and restaurant aren't open yet. They didn't have an iron in the room. There are light fixtures on the walls but it would be nice to have a lamp on the night stand. Potentially I think it will be a good place once everything is finalized.

The location was excellent for Lake Placid...could walk everywhere I wanted to go. The rooms are large and quiet... and the bed was super comfy!

Great location central to about everything surrounding, environment is very friendly and relaxed, beautiful views and amazing esthetic for the young crowd.
Small parking space but didn’t seem to be in issue.

Beautiful room, great location and friendly staff
No cups in room , no coffee maker in room

This property is located conveniently to the Village.
Other than the two queen beds, the room wad devoid of any other furniture. It really needed a desk and chair.

Beautiful hotel
Unfortunately the hotel was just opening and we paid for full service hotel when most amenities were not available. Staff tried their best but even coffee was not available most mornings.

Nice renos.
Little service and not fully ready to welcome guests.
4.5 / 5.0
Renos mean good value. Hip, chill and great staff. Beds were super comfy in a great location. Sadly the price will skyrocket when Renos done.
A little rough around the edges as renos get done.

The room was updated, comfortable, and clean. Lobby had a great design/layout.
Seems like some active construction. Not a huge deal, but you can tell which areas of the hotel are updated/newer than others.

Location and the scenic view lobby
Rooms are small with no furniture to sit on and no little desk. The memory foam bed, although recent, my wife and I have found to be uncomfortable to our taste

The property was nice overall. The common areas were beautiful. The room was a good size. The staff were very nice.
The TV was very confusing and we were unable to use it. The hallways leading to the rooms were poorly lit. There were no plastic or glass cups in the rooms for drinking. The shower was a walk-in shower with a half glass door that did not close all the way and it was very cold. The glass needed to be longer or have a sliding door on it.

Over all everything was gud
The door was too tight and I think…they changed our room before arrived with someone else and got to know next day morning..I think they would have changed room with other guy because of same door problem.

This place is being remolded and we found it to be very nice. The beds were very good. There is no breakfast here, but good restaurants are very near and you can walk anywhere from this location. We were on the third floor and the door to the balcony did not have a serviceable lock.

This is a well-located, newly renovated motel in Lake Placid. The lobby and rooms were designed for the social media era, but the vision currently lacks the necessary execution to be truly satisfying.
Even being aware that the motel wasn't finished (skeleton staff, no bar or restaurant), the experience was odd. The single weirdest thing was there being no cups in the Kohler-appointed bathroom but free paper coffee cups left out 24/7 in the lobby. Obviously, I took a cup from the lobby and solved that problem. Beyond that, the hotel has an issue with its key card program - my keys got deactivated two different times and the receptionist did not want to give me two key cards due to a card shortage - wait, what? Another curious decision is not having in room K-Cup coffee machines in favor of coffee in the lobby starting 7:30am which is too late to matter. Thankfully, I got to joke with other guests that Starbucks on Main Street opens at 5:30am during the week and 6am on weekends.
Moving on, the view from my specific room #109 was of a parking lot dumpster as the window blinds pulled from top to bottom instead of bottom to top. Guests not in #109 can experience this view from the lobby as well. This could be solved by frosting the lower portion of the windows or building a nice enclosure for the dumpster. My room also lacked a reading chair and sufficient usable space (wall pegs, clothes line) to dry rain-soaked gear. The "closet" area was dominated by a cabinet holding a microwave and mini-fridge that wet jackets and shirts pooled water on top of - this will be a true disaster during winter ski season, especially in a room that could sleep 2-4 guests. For the price I paid, these issues were all manageable but I would not return without them all being addressed, especially at higher price points.

Great location. Nicely renovated. Room’s very nice.
Looks nice, but amenities are not quite there. They offer coffee in the morning but hope to not show up when the one pot for the whole place is brewing for half an hour, don’t ask for a little convenience market to get some water or an aspirin, or for a working elevator at the time we were there. They also have a bar, there’s even a sign at the entrance…but the catch is that it doesn’t serve anything, it’s empty, and I simply don’t think they ever opened it.

My less-than-excellent grades are due to the fact that it is far from finished. Thus, no restaurant, bar and other such expectations were not ready as it is a very soft opening. I would have thought that cost would have been less than it was. So I understand the situation and we were not upset by it at all. But were it finished, it would have been a much better grading. Many thanks and appreciation to the staff.
The rooms could be better fitted out. Coffee in the room would be nice. A desk would be helpful, though I understand the effort to send guests to the public areas for greater congeniality. Hooks near the sink would be nice to towels.

The hotel setting is very rustic looking. Nice ambience music is very calming as you come into the building hallway.

Lots of lounging space where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine.
Loved the shampoo, body wash, lotion collection as the smell feels like you just came out from the spa.
