well … we wanted to rest after a long drive , but those notices did not help at all.

Location

the fact that you can hear everything above and below and outside on the street arguing and the parking facility… not a good one though, also we couldn’t connect with WiFi and the phone I. the room didn’t work when we tried to call about it

Exceptional

Whirlpool plus shower in the bathroom, patio with a view of the ocean, king-size bed was very comfortable, table & chairs, sofabed, refrigerator, coffeemaker, a place to put your laptop (& securely lock it up) we're all nice too.

The website directions for parking was a little confusing. They have a soda & ice machine on the ground floor outside by the lobby but an ice machine on each floor would be a little more convenient.

Friendly, convenient, uniquely dressed rooms, and easy parking for the price!

Very friendly staff. Reasonable price. Convenience. Easy check-in/out. Parking easy and convenient to your room. (Stairs and elevator for easy access was a plus for me). Quaint room. The freeway noise was bothersome (where my room was located) but the facility was quiet and enjoyable. The room could've been a little cleaner in areas (i.e., not swept or dusted) but overall it suited me fine. I will return to this facility and I hope you will give them a try.

The room could've been a bit more cleaner. The area behind where the ironing board and iron were hung on the wall hadn't been swept (or cleaned) in a while. Dirt and dust. Update the irons or make sure they are cleaned. I really needed an iron for this trip but decided not to use it. Not enough bedding for warmth. One top sheet and a very thin bedspread was just not enough. Also, I would put a sheer lining (or curtain) with the one curtain at the window so you can open the curtain without being totally exposed. Needed better sound proof windows. Not a fan of the freeway noise but I believe requesting a quieter room on the inside might be better. With that being said, you can't beat the convenience of your room to the parking and front desk. No breakfast but so glad there was a coffee maker and coffee/condiments. I didn't see a vending machine for water so I had to use my own. Unless I missed the vending machine, there needs to be at least one main vending machine for water. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I will return for another visit soon. I will recommend this facility for a quick, easy check-in and out process and reasonable price. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. This made a huge difference!

Not worth $280 and I would like a refund if possible.

Not much to like about the property. The outside view was covered and the hotel sits right outside a highway.

It was dirty, subpar location, towels had makeup markings and other spots on them, the rooms had a weird smell, it was horrendously hot and stuffy at night.

Great location

Parking not great. There is maybe 10 stalls in the very tiny weird garage and a handful behind the property. The staff was extremely rude. Checked in sunday 24th, she yelled at my elderly mother who is recovering from heart surgery. My mother doesnt have the best memory so when she questioning the clerk about possibly checking on Monday as my sister was staying next door in a suit, the clerk rudely raised her voice "IF THIS IS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR YOU, YOU CAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!" then on sunday evening the room was apparently given to someone else. A complete stranger just walked in on her. Scaring her and startled her almost giving her another heart attack. The front desk called her room with rudely verifying her stay. The beds were not comfortable the hotel and building is old, it is as clean as it gets i guess.. NEVER AGAIN HERE

Checking in/out was very easy. The front desk clerks were very kind and accommodating. The hotel is in a nice location in San Clemente with plenty of food and a few bars nearby.

The balcony view mainly freeway with a little bit of ocean in the distance. The room itself was nice but going down the smelly halls through the stained and dingy carpet was a little offputting.

The location needs a remake for soundproofing and upgrading to what is advertised.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, gave lots of information. The room was very clean, coffee station was stocked.

The location is smack on the freeway and windows are not sound proof. The hairdryer was not working and there was no safe, as advertised.

OK for a one or two night stay, parking available. We had top floor room which overlooked golf course to rear and was not too noisy at night. Small room, bit dated and very small bathroom but OK for quick visit. Couple basic shops and bars within 5 min walk. The lower rooms face the I5 and so are noisy on balcony but you can catch some sun and view the sunset if you can stand the noise. Possible to have noise from above on lower floors also.
