Zero, zip, zilch. Not one thing.
Your pictures on the internet are incredibly misleading. This hotel needs to be brought up to code, basic standards or closed down. For being an international destination, your hotel is embarrassing for Mackinac island. The pool was GREEN with floating foam pooling at the edges. The stairwell was disgusting, a trip hazard, the rubber rugs that reside under the stairwell look like they’ve been there for six years, the amount of filth and dead bugs is revolting. The rooms? Musty, horrible beds, toilet room had rust, dirt and grim, the shower temperature was luke warm at best. The “breakfast” included a log of bologna and terrible coffee, how do you mess coffee up? I felt as if I needed another shower after checking out.

Stayed here for one night before heading into Mackinac Island with my family. The location was great, very close the ferry lines and the parking was free. There were multiple restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.
Many issues overall with this hotel that would prevent me from recommending this to a friend or staying here again:
-Bad smell in the room, not sure the cause, but overall did not smell good
-Multiple bugs (spiders, flies, etc...) alive in our room that I had to take care of
-Pillows were not soft
-Bed was only ok for comfort
-The room felt dark, dated, and not well kept
-Breakfast was served between 7-9 AM, we were not made aware of this timeframe and missed the breakfast
-Room location was on the mainfloor with access directly from the parking lot. While this is a preference, I would have liked the option to switch to a higher floor room.
Overall, the hotel was not a pleasant stay for my family, and despite the few positives I would not recommend this hotel to others even though it was a decently priced option.

I loved the location and the view from our room along with the private beach access.
It was dirty, very outdated and kind of gross. The pool and hot tub were disgusting.
4.0
The pool was gross. Green and bubbly with a witches cauldron of white fluid on top. And a smell that pierced my nose. The room was nice and clean and the beach location was awesome though!
5.0
The property was very well-maintained and beautiful
Family atmosphere the beach in our room was awesome

Location was good. Close to the ferry.
The front room had a bad smell when we walked in. After a few hours, we had to kill a dozen spiders. Very disappointed and disgusted with how the room was. Carpet was very outdated and old. Did not use the pool, it was disgusting and gross. When we went to tell the lady at the front desk that checked us in,, she was not nice. Was not concerned and showed no interest with what we were telling her. She gave us a new room, right below. It was, still not pleasant to stay in, but we had no choice. We wanted to leave, but she wouldn't refund us. Poor customer service. The lady that checked us out was pleasant and showed sincerity. Especially when we showed her the tick we killed. Overall, never ever going to this place. This is the first time we've had a very bad experience.

ROOM WAS OK, AT FIRST THE REFRIDGERATOR DIDNT WORK AND THE SMOKE DETECTOR NEEDED BATTRIES AND WAS BEEPING. WE WERE 1ST TOLD WE WOULD HAVE TO MOVE AND WE DIDNT WANT TO DO THAT AFTER JUST UNPACKING . THE NEXT DAY THE AWESOME LADY AT THE FRONT DESK GOT US A NEW FRIDGE .
THE POOL AND HOT TUB WERENT WORKING. IT WAS INCONVIENT BUT AT LEST WE WERE ABLE TO USE ONE AT A HOTEL DOWN THE ROAD

Absolutely nothing.
Everything. It was extremely dirty. It smelled bad. There were visible bugs everywhere. Surfaces weren't wiped down. Bed sheets were dirty. Walls were disgusting! The staff were AWFUL. The manager Ashley being the worst.

We absolutely loved the location! Close to most everything we wanted to see in Mackinaw City!
We absolutely loved our room too. It was a room on the 2nd floor, over the carport in the 2nd building. We were traveling with our daughter and her 3 children, so we needed beds for 6, and a larger size room. This was great. The room was larger than normal, had 2 beds and a sofa bed. Because the breakfast room was on the 2nd floor, it was the only room on our end. It was quiet...no people walking past our room or loud neighbors! It had a stairway that went only to our room.
The wallpaper & decor could definitely use a facelift, but it was clean and comfortable, and perfect for what we needed. If this sounds like what you need for your stay, it's room 239. I don't think they rent it out as much, as we got it on accident, as they originally had us in a room with only 2 beds and a whirlpool tub. It was July 4th holiday weekend/week, and they were very busy. I'm so happy it turned out the way it did. If we go back to the area, I'm pretty certain I would request that room 🤣
The room could use a facelift. Housekeeping was slow to get our towels to us, but it was July 4th week, and they were near capacity if not completely full. None of these were a deal breaker though. The room wasn't fancy, and needed new wallpaper, but it was CLEAN, and roomy for 6 people

If you don't want to pay Mackinac Island hotel prices staying in Mackinaw City is a great option and this hotel is within walking distance of the ferry. The staff was nice and overall the stay was smooth from a managerial perspective.
However, although what we paid was market price for the hotel quality and area, it felt like a huge rip off. The room was very musty and moist, dark, walls dirty, sheets stained, busted bulbs, no outlets. The pool was dirty, the hot tub looked like a cesspool, and the breakfast was really just sad. Based on how overpriced this hotel and the food in town were for the poor quality, I would save up and take a shorter stay on the actual island instead and avoid staying in Mackinaw city altogether.

The staff was friendly and the area was quiet at night.
The grab and go breakfast that was free with my stay was not actually available at this hotel. I was told I could take my key card and show it to a hotel down the street to get the free breakfast. It kind of defeats the purpose of grabbing a "grab and go" breakfast right before check out if I have to leave the hotel to get it and then make sure I'm back in time for check out. The bathtub in my room had jets in it, when the jets were turned on a bunch of black stuff and hair came out of them.

Great proximity to the city and restaurants.
The plumbing was a bit noisy and could have been a bit cleaner.
4.0
Place was clean. Pool n Hot Tub were nice
It states breakfast included but all they have is granola bars n water at lobby desk. They don't do breakfast like site says.

Nothing. it was the worst hotel ever
everything

location to the ferry.
nice big walk in shower. lake view was nice.
very out dated inside and out. needs completely new upgrades inside and out. to damp in room.
jacuzzi tub old & rusty.
webs and big spiders on balcony. bugs in ceiling corners didn’t want to look in floor corners cause wouldn’t have been able to stay there if I seen them but couldn’t sleep cause afraid something was gonna crawl on me. not enough plugs around the bed. had to ask to have one of the lights fixed, felt like someone should be checking them regularly like during cleaning. one of the drawers had garbage in it which tells me that is never opened for cleaning by staff.
4.0
i liked that they had elevators. And the kids very much enjoyed the pool. It was also nice the pool was open until 11pm.
parking was difficult to park in some spaces and at times was hard to find a space. Also the password they gave me for the internet did not work. When i went to the front desk and asked about it she asked me if i had apple product and blamed it on that. told me to shut it down and try to rebot it but it still didn’t work. She acted like she knew this was a problem but didn’t really care.
3.5
It is located by the lake, our room had a balcony to Lake Huron and the view was spectacular.
Staff were great, polite, friendly and very helpful.
if you want to save some money, this hotel offers a good value, just do not expect to get a five star room.
There were some issues with our room, small details, the room is not that great. not enough electrical outlets, coffee maker is in the bathroom and the furniture is old; but beds are comfy.
1.0
Great location.
Our door would not shut and they said they would send someone up to fix it. They never did. If we left the hotel the room was practically open. The room was clean but the facility and pool were dirty. The exercise room smelled terrible and the hot tub water was green. I would not stay again after seeing how the place was taken care of.
3.0
Location was Great, the pool was really big and we enjoyed the fireworks. The rooms were maintained daily, the staff were very friendly.
Maintenace of the pool could have been better, there was sand in the bottom of the pool, always had to ask for towels for the pool. I booked this hotel because the said breakfast was included, a breakfast bar and a drink are not breakfast.
3.0
Breakfast should have been better. providing just and apple and a bar not works
2.5
Location is good. Ferry and restaurants were easily accessible.
It was mentioned that breakfast is included. But they just had some cereal bar and fruits. We had to go out for breakfast.
There were no drinking water facility to fill up water bottles. We had to buy from vending machines.
No ice in fridge.
5.0
clean, large, amenities and they worked! easy to find, close to ferry
take and go breakfast could be vamped up a bit. maybe add oatmeal & hot water, yogurt.
3.5
check in was quick and convenient
pot smoking next door and so no smoking doesn't seem to matter.
