The gentleman that attended us upon arrival during graveyard shift and the lady the next morning upon checkout, despite the state of the hotel room.

Dust, dirty and filthy floors, cobwebs in the inside of the curtains, garbage under bed… fridge dirty and never cleaned.. loud and lots and what sucks is that we’re allergic to pollen and dust plus have asthma so very unhealthy experience environment. Photo was presented to staff upon checkout since we were not going to stay another night because of the circumstance.

Location

Floor poorly installed,toilet much to short-perfect for a a 10 year old, difficult for an adult to stand, impossible for older adults, bed support slats for mattress missing or broken.

This is my first time going to a hotel. I haven't been to a hotel in almost a decade.

So, this is my first time here. Several things that I like were room service, a lot of the amenities like laundry service, the bathroom, bathtub, tv, refrigerator, and the bed. I also liked the cleanliness of the room, how clean it was and the way the bed was made. I also liked the swimming pool even though I didn't go swimming. The staff in the hotel lobby were really nice, polite, and respectful when they greeted me as I came inside to check in.

Most things that I didn't like at the hotel were no towels only wash cloths. I wish they had towels in the bathroom, at least I brought my own towel to take a shower. I noticed there were no elevator service, I wish there was an elevator to get up and down from the second floor. I noticed that there were vending machines in the laundry room but it was empty.

The Travelodge in Redding seems like it's a halfway house hiding and staying a motel or a lodge that

The breakfast was just fine bagels sausage eggs cream cheese fruit cup and maybe some orange juice perfect for morning location is Redding California on the outskirts I love the river and I love the mountains up here so there's no other place I would consider to be paradise except for maybe Mount Shasta actually being apart or inside a mountain community.

The only thing I really didn't like about the hotel was that reading for some reason used to be a hub it seems to be a completely changed community scared of something

I have stayed here a few different times with my family. The staff is always amazing and helpful. We stay here once a year and have never been disappointed. The breakfast is great. The staff goes above and beyond. Sunny checked us in and she was so sweet.

The first room had a broken Toilet and Ants invaded the bathroom. Had to complain at front desk and request a new room. At first they said nothing available but then found me a very nice room. Slept well and enjoyed the breakfast offerings.

Inexpensive but Needing Repairs

The staff were welcoming and friendly upon arrival. The electricity and water worked. Wi-fi was decent.

We planned for the kitchenette to be able to function but the heating elements didn't work or acted 'warm' when on maximum setting (It took a timed 2 hours to cook ground beef). When approached, the office staff member, while polite, revealed the issue was known ("But the repair man told us it was fixed"). The room needed cosmetic repairs here and there with gaps in floor laminate tiles and such. The room smelled off... but we couldn't place what it was. A sink dripped but the AC covered the sound at night. We wouldn't recommend and aren't planning to return.

Good stay for people traveling alone. Good location in that it is close to I5 and quiet.

The staff were amazingly helpful and courteous. Checking in and out was seamless. The breakfast was great-lots of options.

The room walls are thin, so sound carries and it is loud. Especially the plumbing-when someone is showering-it is extremely loud in the neighboring room.

Adequate, but not really worth it.

Great location. I really wanted to stay out of the city, and this fit the bill. Great hot breakfast in the morning. Parking was easy.

The ratings on this website raised my expectations about cleanliness, and they really weren't met at all. Hair in the shower, dog food (or something?) on the floor. The walls are thin, and I could hear my neighbors and the hallway traffic. Bad water pressure in the shower, the shower was like....coming unstuck from the wall? Not sure how to explain that, but it was pretty depressing. I got the impression that my room hasn't been maintained or deep cleaned in years.

Great stay in Redding CA

The staff was very friendly and professional...room & grounds were very clean... property was very quiet...heater worked well

The frame of bed was larger than mattress therefore I kicked the metal frame several times...would have been much better if frame...like other pieces of furniture had 4 -6 inches inset...but in alternative since you put so much money into motel already...you could wrap legs in foam rubber...to prevent injuries

Very good

I truly appreciated that the breakfast included gluten free options. The eggs were good and the option of gluten free toast was helpful. My husband who isn't gluten enjoyed the waffles.

There wasn't much I didn't like as the room was as I expected. It would have been nice if it was closer to Highway 5 which is the freeway we were traveling down. The only other negative was that the room was very cold when we got there and took a while to warm up.
