Adequate. Note quite to the level we usually see at Hampton Inns

Location We generally like Hampton Inn. Consistent

One elevator broken down. Front desk person not helpful, though adequate. Property a bit tired looking.

This hotel has the most important qualities to a good stay; clean and comfortable.

Clean and comfortable

Only down side to this stay was as I was gathering forks and napkins for eating breakfast on the road the breakfast staff commented on my taking so many cutlery for my family. Everything else was fantastic.

I would never stay here again.

The staff was nice

It was dirty. The tub wasn't clean it was mode on the curtains. It smells like an old basement.

Clean

I didn’t like that when the air came on it pulled all the cigarette smoke into the room from outside. Our room was right above where everyone was smoking. I was not happy.

Decent stay for the price point, good location for visiting IUP

Room was fine, seemed clean enough. Breakfast was typical for a free breakfast. Staff for the breakfast area were very friendly and helpful. Had a problem with the bathroom door sticking in our first room and the front desk switched us to another room without issue.

Beds not very comfortable. Some black/dark spots in tub/shower - did not examine closely. Pool wasn't great - there was a sizable hole in the bottom of the pool and only about 4 or 5 seats in the pool area. We had the pool to ourselves before dinner though, so that made it ok.

We liked everything, the staff wS wonderful, freindly, helpful, informative about places to go, things to do. I have to say this was one of our best Christmas trips my sisters and I had.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Not exactly thrilled with this stay.

The distance was not far from my daughter's school. Staff is always friendly.

What I didn't like was the smell, the room had a very odd odor upon arrival that did not dissipate over time. The rooms do not have block out curtains which is a issue when you're trying to sleep in a little late. Lastly, I don't like the fact that there are no turkey products available. I don't understand why there can't be small amounts/portions of meat items other than pork/beef for guest.

Breakfast was good. The biscuits were really fresh and warm

There was a family of several kids walking around the breakfast area in bare feet and i thought that was so gross. I think the staff should have said something or have a sign up saying you should have shirt,pants and SHOES .

Very conveniently located to IUP and several shopping centers.

Everyone was so kind and helpful. When we checked in, the employee at the front desk gave us several helpful tips on the property. Room was very comfortable, and it was located very close to IUP

Breakfast was great! Very clean and friendly staff! This was our second stay at this hotel.

Very close to everything we wanted to do. It was very clean and staff is friendly.

I would suggest the option of flatter pillows. All that was in our room were high pillows and because of a past back injury i need a lower profile pillow. Also, just a suggestion: since most people traveling in couples or families most have cell phones. As I looked at the room I thought of the possibility of having a very small shelf that could be folded down to the wall, but opened to accommodate a cell phone or bottle of water for night use.

Great hotel, kind staff, clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was wonderful. A nice treat that I did not expect. It really helped me out since I needed to be out early in the morning. The front staff desk was very kind, gave me complementary tooth brush and toothpaste since I forgot mine.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

It’s a favorite when visiting family from now on.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean. Unlike the hotel we were in the nights before you could tell this hotel took pride in keeping the grounds clean.

Disappointing

Not the typical Hampton Honors reception at check-in. Had an error in booking and had 2 separate reservations in my name and the hotel staff never mentioned it. The room smelled smoky and there were several long hairs in the bed. I travel a good bit and stay exclusively at Hampton and Hilton properties. I am always happy…this property is not in line with the others I’ve stayed in.
