Excellent with some issues

Excellent location, spacious suite for all of us, private parking and while older rooms it was very clean and comfortable. Check in clerk was very friendly and helpful with suggesting places to eat. He even called me to let me know our room was ready early since we arrived earlier than the check in time.

After the 1st shower there was no hot water the rest of the trip in one bathroom. Hotel had no solution for this and kept saying nobody else had complained about it. Offered to come look at the shower but that wasn't going to do anything. Same situation when none of the outlets in the entire room would hold a cord plugged in except maybe 2 or 3. Luckily had 2 showers and other had hot water and made do with outlets we could Jimmy rig to work.

Adobe Inn was a great place to stay if you want to be within walking distance to all the art

Location to shops and galleries was excellent.. could walk everywhere. I liked the underground parking.. Very comfortable bed..

The bathroom was cold.. the floor and toilet.. but there was a heat lamp which provided some extra heat..

This site was well located, had a roomy suite for us, with nice bedding, drapes etc.

Double room for three of us was great. Loved the fireplace. Parking was perfect in such a car-crowded town.

It is an older site. I would recommend that some of the corroded fixtures and painted over wallpaper be upgraded. But, this would not stop me from recommending this facility, mentioning the "age" factor.

Very good

Large rooms, balcony, clean, fireplace, practical room and bathroom layout for family activities. Parking provided. Well located. Small kitchenette. Only thing missing for a longer stay would be microwave and/or kettle.

Excellent location and good value!

Property was located close to shopping and restaurants. The room was quite roomy and enjoyed both the fireplace and patio. Loved the underground parking and security.

Very central location to the shopping area as well as a number of restaurants. Easy walk to the beach. Room is big and comfortable. Will stay here again when we next visit Carmen by the sea .

Confortable bed, large room, convenient to everything, walking distance to town and the beach

very centrally located and easily walkable to town and the beach; on site free underground parking, friendly staff who left me alone, which suited me. The elevator was convenient to my room. Fireplace, and balcony that provided a partial ocean view. big enough to sit out and enjoy the day.

My room’ TV had very poor reception; however the manager gave me a rebate to make up for the inconvenience. Lots of stairs. Noisy trucks early in the morning a couple of days of the stay.

Disappointing

Nice neighborhood the room was fine.

The bathroom was from the 1960's, the tub barely worked and the lights wouldn't go on about half the time. The room is OK but the bathroom definitely needs a serious upgrade.

loving animals and the fact that this property is dog friendly BUT this suite was gross with too many huge wet/ shampooed urine spots. I had to wear slippers the entire stay.

Well Located, Dog Friendly Hotel in Carmel

I love this property because the rooms are clean, they are dog friendly and priced right. Easy parking which is unique in carmel.

we loved the town and location with parking was great. room was average but clean and comfy beds. shower was bad.

The room was dated and in need of new furniture, paint, etc. worst was that the television was on the dresser to the right of the bed so you had to lay on your side to watch it or sit in 2 extremely uncomfortable chairs on the other side of the bed. Also the room was cold and hard to get the temperature comfortable- either too hot or too cold.

Location is fantastic. Staff are lovely and really helpful. Gardens are beautiful and really well kept. Rooms are big. Parking is great - large spaces , free to use and easy access via lift to rooms.

Rooms are rather dated - carpets lifting at edges, dusty curtains and pelmets, bathroom tired . Hypoallergenic bedding that was requested prior to our stay was not available as someone else was using it - staff member on duty ,who went out of her way to help us , found some pillows and blankets we could use after several calls to the housekeeper
