We would definitely come again.

Balcony was nice, but the beach could have been cleaned up some. The room was nice and clean.

A warm breakfast would be awesome, especially with that new Hampton going up down the road.

Clean and great location though dated

Great location, clean and good value. Had a good continental breakfast though the area was very crowded.

In need of a refresh and the ice machine needs a good cleaning or an upgrade as the ice had a funny taste.

Older hotel that needs updating. I will try other hotels if I return to Saint Ignace.

View good. Room clean and nice. Breakfast average.

The heat/ac unit need attention. The unit's controls panel did not seen to control the unit.

I'm not sure we would chose this property on a return visit.

The location was near the ferry to Mackinaw Island. The pool and hot top was a nice addition.

The breakfast location was not at all adequate for the # of guests at the property. A much better breakfast area is desperately needed. Very crowded with not enough seating. Breakfast selection only fair.

Wouldn't recommend staying here

The staff was pleasant when we checked in

There was hair in the shower before any of us used it. No microwave. That they still use a actual key the whole motel needs updated and for the price we had to pay you would have thought it would have been cleaner and updated

Short, relaxing stay. Would 100% stay here again!

It is right on Lake Huron and the bed is amazingly comfortable!

Thankfully, I brought hot tub cleaner with me; the hot tub looked clean, but had gunk in it when I used the cleaner.

Disappointing.

The pool and hot tubs.

The continental breakfast was a bit disappointing. The ad on the internet said there was microwaves and fridges in the rooms. No microwave in the room. Only in the hallway. The fridge didn't work at all. The sitting chair was very uncomfortable. The motel is a bit old. We plan on going up again but we're gonna stay in a more modern motel.

Girls Annual Get-A-Way

Friendly staff, beautiful views, clean and the rooms are very spacious.

No microwave in the room, refrigerator control was broken so everything froze. Too many chemicals in the pool and got tubs, took the toner out of my hair, that will cost me $100+ to have it fixed.

balcony needed cleaning, there was significant amount of dead mosquitoes tangled on spiderwebs around the balcony door and window.

The scene is like an episode of Shitts CREEK. It's just missing the main Characters. The view is amazing but do not to see much from room 347.

The smell, the bugs, the luke warm jacuzzi and lack of housekeeping.

Great location..love the view. Pool, hot tub, and bed all excellent. The place is feeling it's age but it wasn't a big deal for us.

View of Lake. Close to attractions Highly recommend Mackinaw Island for day trip. Hotel will arrange pickup and tickets.

Although it could use improvements, it was a quiet place to rest our heads.

The location was great proximity for a day on Mackinac Island. The rooms were easily accessible and we enjoyed being able to use the beach space. The staff was welcoming and friendly too.

Many reviews stated that the facilities were outdated, and they were definitely right. The playground equipment and chairs at the beach were significantly weathered. Those that weren’t weathered had bird poop all over them. The rooms were outdated, stains on carpet/side of box springs, marks on underside of comforter (saw upon departure), and damage to walls wasn’t completely patched.

Beautiful, relaxing, and calming balconies all facing the lake!

The view and the balcony are amazing! It sold me from the moment I saw the pictures online. I loved having the view and the relaxing sounds of the waves in the evening. We had breakfast in the morning out there. It was so calming and relaxing! We spent most of our hotel time out on the balcony! Loved having a hallway microwave. It was very kind to have one available.

A little longer for breakfast would be nice. Breakfast was from 6-9. We were rushed to get down to breakfast before it closed. I would also recommend adding a ramp/wedge by the elevator door in the lower parking lot. It was difficult to get the cart and the walker up over the door frame. I’m sure it is from the building settling but it would make it easier for everyone if the tripping hazard could be fixed. Also our mattresses were thin and hard. But next door (in the Grandmas’ room) they had thick and soft mattresses.

The location of the hotel is perfect to visit Mackinak island. Beds are confortable. The room is large and the view on the lake really nice. Access is easy by car

It is not practical to have the sink separate from the bathroom. I do not like the carpet on the floor, especially towards the sink. This does not allow for impeccable hygiene.
