Reminds me of the 90s, the carpet was probably still there.

Great location, walking distance from the Shepler's ferry to Mackinac island. The breakfast was clean and attended to well by staff. Nice water views and fire pit.

Room cost the same as one night at the beautiful water front resort that we stayed at in Traverse City the night before. Overpriced for a spruced up motel. Property has individual exterior doors to the rooms. The room interior furniture other than the beds and headboards are dated. The carpet was old and dirty. Most modern rooms use hard surface flooring. The shower surround was dated as well. We were definitely cat-fished with the listing booking this place sight unseen.

Great place to stay.

Location for the car show was great. We were able to walk to the car show. We were able to watch the Friday evening car parade from across the street from the hotel. We were able to watch the Saturday night fireworks from the hotel grounds. The breakfast was very good. The room was clean. Staff were friendly and made the whole experience great. We hope to return to this location for future car shows.

Staff was very friendly. Great breakfast. Indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub, plus on the beach. Free s'mores at 8p every evening. Close to Mackinaw ferry.

We were in the Michigan building, which was the oldest building, so rooms were a bit out dated. The air conditioner was on the load side. I would book a different bldg if we return.

Very convenient and kid friendly.

Love the pool areas for the kids and jungle gym outside. Loved the free breakfast in the morning. So many options to choose from. Loved the friendly staff.

Great.

In October I was there and had a balcony room facing the lake. I came back to Wisconsin and told everyone it's the best place I have found in a long time. Everything great! In July I took my 2 granddaughters bragging about how wonderful it was and got a different room and no view. Disappointed but everything else was nice.

The room was small for four adults and beds were also on the small side and no where in photos did you show the rooms in the Michigan building where we were had I seen these in photographs I would have picked something different for that price

Superb

The breakfast staff were amazing. It was quite busy and lots of people yet all employees continued to keep smiles on their face, greet customers and quickly refill near empty dishes of food. They were exceptional! Thanks so much!

Excellent stay and we will absolutely return someday.

Very clean, excellent service, and beautiful views. The pool and hot tub were perfect.

We were warned about gnats by staff and signage but it was a slight inconvenience.

Worth considering if you are going to St Ignance.

Great in every way. Fantastic breakfast with real eggs and sausage and biscuits and gravy all fresh.

Amazing breakfast and Amazing staff. Location was perfect, right next to Ferry port.

There was not anything I didn't like. Exceptional value!

Very comfortable and welcoming place to call home for our weekend

Location was great, right on the Lake Huron shore and we had a large balcony overlooking the lake. It was very peaceful and relaxing to sit and enjoy the view. The hotel is very convenient to the ferry service to the Island and not far from restaurants. Casino is close, if that interests you. We had breakfast each morning and the ladies that worked the breakfast room did an amazing job of keeping the place clean and all the food items filled.

The only hiccups in the whole trip were that the Coke machine in our building didn’t work and took our money (promptly refunded at the desk), and that the hotel had not yet received their allotment of discounted tickets for the ferry but that no fault of theirs and not a big deal.

My stay was relaxing on the soul.

This is a great hotel! The property is well kept and centrally located to town. Hot breakfast is on point and the staff was so friendly, and the view from the room’s balcony was GORGEOUS. I will definitely be back!!

Exceeded our expectations!

We loved our stay! Located right on lake Huron which is just steps away. Mackinac Island is a 15 minute boat ride away. Our room had a balcony with a partial lake view. The room exceeded our expectations. Spacious, updated, and very clean. In fact, the entire property is well-maintained including common areas. Fantastic indoor pool and the free breakfast included a variety of hot/cold choices that were continuously stocked by hospitality. The staff really went out of their way to make our stay memorable in the best way! I cannot emphasize enough how cheerful and very helpful they all were. 3 adults traveling with 2 children under the age of 5. Highly recommend and we will be back!

The only negative would be lodging is separate from reception/indoor pool/breakfast lounge. Something for a traveler to keep in mind when it is raining/snowing and the cold winds blow inland off Lake Huron 😊
