Mold under the sink. Bathtub coming apart from wall. Musty smell

Love the location and the peacefulness.

The location so close to the beach. The cabin style rooms. The jacuzzi bath tub. Nice big rooms with ceiling fan was nice.

Stairs going up to all rooms. Did not allow door dash to deliver to rooms. The refrigerator made a popping noise all night and I did not get a restful sleep.

A good, peaceful experience.

Peaceful location. Quiet. Almost no car traffic. One story so nobody walking above us in the middle of the night. Bedding and kitchenette and supplies seemed fresh and clean. Microwave and refrigerator were very useful. The hotel even provided dishware and cutlery. Not good for party animals, thank all the powers that be!

The. Carpeting really should go. Once stained one can never get it really clean. A Laminate wood floor Is much more sanitary AndMany times easier to keep clean.

Exceptional

We loved this place. Felt like a comfortable lodge tucked away in a quiet place yet near the heart of Pacific Grone. The lady who checked us in was sweet and awesome. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I will definitely stay here again, but ask for a different room.

The property has great square footage. It is clean. It has great access to the beach and is close to Carmel as well as cannery row.

The property has a lot of deferred maintenance within the room. The towel bar was broken, and the tub had a very large ship around the drain that was almost as large as the drain.

I booked and paid for a room for the evening with my fiancé and was turned away upon arrival by the front desk simply because I was from Salinas. As soon as I walked into the main office and said I was checking in, the man at the front desk asked if I was from Salinas and when I answered “yes” he said locals can’t stay there. I thought it was some kind of joke. He said it’s his managers policy because locals stay there, do drugs and destroy the rooms. I couldn’t believe it. My fiancé pulled out his Tennessee license and asked if he could check in for us being from Tennessee and the man said he’d be allowed but not me because I’m from Salinas. I had to book another hotel last minute and get a refund through Booking.com because the Rosedale couldn’t give me money back. I am completely disappointed, offended, and disgusted by the Rosedale Inn. I have never experienced this from a hotel, and don’t understand how this place is allowed to have such a discriminating policy. I was shocked. The Rosedale Inn really needs to reevaluate how they do business. That was absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional.

We would like to visit again!

The room was large yet cozy with a fireplace and kitchenette. The location was perfect and near the ocean. The staff was accommodating and pleasant. Overall good experience!

The only deficiency was the lumpy bed mattress. A nice 4 inch memory foam topper may do the trick.

I will stay here again. Clean is most important to me. And the fireplace on the cold night was perfect!

The amenities, fireplace, and jacuzzi bath tub is awesome!

it’s a little bit dated and needs a facelift; carpet, handle in bath tub, but so worth the value!

The place needs a complete refresh/remodel.

The location is great on Monterey Peninsula.

We had stayed there before ( prior to COVID). It was always a bit old, But we’ll kept and clean. It is now run down and dirty. The bedding was clean though old. Also, they no longer serve breakfast, though that wasn’t clear when we booked.

I liked it but wish it was better

Pros: the front desk staff was so friendly and accommodating. The bed was SUPER comfortable The jacuzzi bath was wonderful and there was plenty of hot water The room was warm

The walls were dingy The wallpaper was peeling It didn't feel like a luxury place because it was dated and the curtains and wallpaper were falling apart BUT It was very clean

great peaceful getaway

quiet with beautiful natural surroundings. large bath tub and fireplace. felt homie, and the staff is very welcoming.

bed was lumpy and the tv needs upgrading as the remote didn’t really work, 3 channels. also entrance floor leading to the room was very dirty.
