Nice people but never again. So hard to sleep with all the noise and not worth the price.

Not too far from yosemite and pretty close to restaurants if driving. Almost all employees are super nice and the ambiance outside with the lights and fire pit and pool are lovely (which is great because you won't want to be inside of your room).

Marketed as dining too but there is no way to eat dinner there. Sheets smelled a bit funky (maple syrup?) and the above vent was completely covered in dust and lint. In fact, if there is enough shaking of the walls and floors, you can see a little of it fall down onto your face as you are laying in bed. Rooms are teeny tiny and feels overpriced for such little space. Paper thin walls and you can hear other guests rolling their luggage on the wooden patio outside or running up and down the hallway. You will wake up with those guests that are trying to enter Yosemite before dawn.

Wonderful place to stay

This was a great place to stay. Lovely characterful property which was very clean and very comfortable. Nice porch area to sit out from the room and lovely comfortable areas around the ranch to relax. A short drive to Yosemite Park entrance. Very helpful list of places to eat locally provided.

No complaints. It was a quiet evening. We slept well.

Country/Mountain atmosphere. Rustic appearance but modern accoutrements.

You need a black-top parking lot without pot holes to run over when you enter. With the black-top, you could mark all the parking spaces. I know its expensive, but your rooms are expensive too. The Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich could have been hotter. You need to stock mustard! :-)

Superb

All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and had all we needed. I highly recommend this hotel if visiting yosemite!

It's only a small point. But the restaurant and pool were shut, but on Booking.com it didn't state this when we made the reservation a few days earlier. So it's best to double check with the hotel first. This isn't a negative reflection on the hotel at all, more just a word of caution.

a stunning ranch with amazing staff

the most accommodating people we’ve come across, due to a snow storm the ranch lost power during our stay but the staff more than made up for it and our stay with them was still memorable! the king suite we had was stunning, with a beautiful view of the ranch. great location, clean and spacious.

love everything about this ranch except the breakfast. the breakfast was EXTREMELY limited.

there was a power outage from night to morning around 9am one day which was not their fault but it was still inconvenient to us as guests so taking off a star for that.

Cozy comfort a stone's throw from Yosemite

From the moment we stepped inside the ranch, we were met with the friendliest staff and the cosiest location you could wish for. The ranch is the perfect spot to rest after a long day exploring, and you will feel super well looked after by each and every member of staff, from the welcome desk, to breakfast, and even the caretaker/gardener who helped us with snow driving tips!

The only thing that could be improved for me would be a modernisation in the bathrooms, but it really didn't affect how much we enjoyed our stay at all.

The house is beautiful and the staff is super friendly and ready to help. Very cozy rooms and spaces.

The breakfast was below expectations. The dining room very confortable with a nice view of the gardens. However, there were very limited choices to eat, particularly protein. No ham, bacon, sausages, etc. Just some boiled eggs in a plastic wrapping. Too many carbs and sugar.

Enjoyed it and relaxed a lot.

I always love to stay here. Beautiful lodge and restaurant. My only complaint is that the restaurant closed the day before we got there. We were expecting the restaurant to be open because they said it was. we would like to have been able to have a few drinks and a snack at least. People don’t want to do that and drive. I think it’s a bit of a missed opportunity to have everything closed. maybe the bar and some frozen snacks. Except for that I loved everything else.

If I were to come back, I would request an upstairs room or room close to the front parking lot.

snow was 10 minutes away, but traffic was 1 hour!!!.

our room was downstairs. the room was not sound proof. I can hear conversations, foot stomping, footsteps. I didn’t get sleep at all.

Great hotel in great location

Great location, beautiful facilities. Also, dinner in the restaurant is awesome! The hotel staff is also super friendly and helpful.

My only recommendation to management would be to slightly improve the breakfast - remove the fried potatoes (which I’ve noticed a lot of people have commented on) and replace with some fresh fruit, yogurts, better quality cereals, etc. Some tiny changes would go a long way :-)

If your planning on visiting the Yosemite area this is a perfect location and place for couples!

The property was very well kept and in a great location. The staff was amazing! I loved the all day coffee and the Tavern restaurant really made for a special evening for me and my Husbands anniversary. The whole stay was really memorable 😊♥️
