toilet seat didn’t cover porcelain rim view was of a brick wall photos misleading as to proximity to beach

Front office closure at 10pm

The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The front office closes at 10pm. The bookings.com did not mention that and even gave us a choice to check-in after 10pm. If we had arrived after 10pm, then we would have had to make arrangements at another hotel/motel late that night.

We'll definitely be back this summer!

Stayed 2 nights for our honeymoon. The room was perfect and they were great about our three puppies we had with us. Could have been on the beach with views, but the beach was 3 minutes away.

Other than the rain, not too much to complain about.

has the old hotel odor. It was not as strong and some, but made us leave the window open and we were cold. Reserving/researching the motel, locating the facility and reserving the room was confusing because it used to be called Spindrift.

Great place!

I have stayed here several times. The staff is great, room is always clean and updated furnishings. You just can’t find a better option in Brookings, considering location, cost, and quality. I give them my highest recommendation!

Passable

The receptionist did a fantastic job. Very friendly and informative.

What was weird was the bathroom window was forcibly open. We could not close the window no matter how much we tried to pull it closed. They had put a wedge in it to stay open. Got a little cold in the winter and had to stuff it with a pillow.

We will upgrade our choices next time. I’m done with worn out motels.

proximity of where we needed to be.

it’s in need of repairs. the shows rid was barely hanging on the wall . repairs that had been done were shoddy. furniture was worn. caulking in bathroom was sloppy and cracked. bathroom is so small you have to stand beside the toilet to close the door. you can not be a large person and stay here.

Exceptional

As a woman traveling alone, it felt safe, there were no loud/noisy guests, it was quiet, clean, comfortable; I enjoyed a hot bath before bed, and the shower spray/water pressure in the morning were great. The room temperature was comfortable. My reception at the front desk was pleasant, and friendly and I appreciated the Halloween decorations!

I'll definitely be back!

Bed was wonderful! Staff is so nice. Location is great, easy to get to spots in town, wharf, south of town. I like that wildlife show up near the parking lot. Short walk to great ocean view. 5 minutes to Harris Park. Love iron and ironing board are there.

Slight musty/moldy smell when using bath sink. Toilet was a little hard to navigate. Shower was tricky to regulate.

Very pleasant location, good service, but very dated and dirty.

Tub was dirty and peeling. Plus floors were so dirty our feet turned black from a few min of walking in socks and bare feet.

Showing its age and limited amenities, but works as a place to sleep while playing at the coast.

I really just needed a place to crash in between hiking, which it worked just fine for.

It was kind of dumpy for the price. The man who checked me in was really nice, but the lady who worked their was rude.
