Mother-Daughter Chat night.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed to accommodate our needs.

The room temperature was hot (79 degrees) when we arrived. The AC never cooled the room down to the set temp of 70, not even when we dropped it to the lowest, 60 degrees. The room finally got to 74 when we were about to leave. Someone needs to check the AC unit. We use our personal room fan to accommodate the temperature.

Didn’t enjoy stay but it is what it is

Clean new furniture in rooms, great breakfast

Set reservation for a double bed queen room for 3 people but got 1 queen bed room had to go get room changed then new room air conditioner didn’t cool room and body wash dispenser was completely empty.

Bed was clean. People yelling and slamming doors all hours of the night. Loud music playing @6:30am.

The staff was nice

The bed was clean but I don’t even know if the floor was vacuumed because there was a penny lying on the ground by the door. There were people yelling up and down the halls at night with doors slamming. At 6:30ish am, there was a group of people outside playing loud music. I didn’t feel safe but it is Hattiesburg so. I didn’t get a chance to even have breakfast because I was ready to get out of there before something went wrong.

Very disappointed. Rude and argumentative receptionist.

Clean.

I reserved a King non-smoking room. I was placed in double room. I tried to show the individual at the desk my reservation and he claimed they were sold out and none were available. My fiancé called and spoke to a lady who said they still had king rooms.

Good location, right off the highway. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice little amenities in the room. Friendly staff.

The breakfast was just OK. The "hot" breakfast items were cold and the overall selection left much to be desired.

The staff we're really nice to me at check in, also check in was really quick and easy. And the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Perfect stay overall!!

Robbed at this hotel

We spoke to the manager in the morning about being robbed the night before, and she was very sympathetic.

First of all, let me say that we are a senior couple (78 & 68). We stopped at this hotel late at night. We were put in a room with no heat and were freezing. The night desk clerk immediately gave us a new room. We had partially unpacked so quickly threw our things together and moved to the other room, hoping to get a good night's sleep and on the road early. Long story short, we accidentally left my wallet in the room. We received a call from the front desk an hour later saying that he had the wallet, and I immediately went to the desk to pick it up. I looked in my wallet and found all of my cash was missing ($350). Upon questioning, the clerk refused to discuss the issue and said we had to call the police. We did so, but of course, nothing could be done. The hotel prevented us and refused to contact or allow us to speak to the people in the room. The police came to speak with us but did not return to our room with any type of follow-up. That money was all we had. We will never stay at this hotel in the future. We are hoping that the hotel chain will accept responsibility for the safety and welfare of their guests and reimburse us the amount of money that was stolen.

Front desk staff are always so nice!! Love the dove products in the rooms.

Very Good choices for a night

Very friendly staff, price was competitive with all others properties around,Room was nice , excellent quality of amenities and personal Care products.

The elevator smells wasn’t pleasant, little dirty. Breakfast was ok but I will love to see more variety , fresh fruits and healthy food .

Everything was fine.

The pool hours. It doesn't open until 10am. 1 hour before checkout. You can't take a dip before you get up and leave. It closes at 9pm. We wanted to go just sit by the pool and talk that night before going to bed, but we couldn't get in because it was already closed. We missed a beautiful night. However, there was an ample supply of towels made very available by the pool entrance.

sticky humid and didnt rest well

the gentleman at the front desk was very appologetic

given a room key, went to the room and unloked the door and there was a man laying in the bed watching tv went back to front desk to let them know and was given a different room that was not worth what i was charged for it smelled like mold/mildew and there was a massive water leak from the toilet on the floor. room stayed very humid and bed sheets felt damp.

Great!!

Breakfast was awesome.. many things to choose from.. we have stayed at this hotel for approximately 12-13 years.. wanted to try a couple around the hotel and keep coming back to Baymont/Wingate!

Pillows to sleep on are in very poor condition!! Floppy and feels like filling came apart..

Pleasant stay and served our purpose passing through but would not want an extended stay

Room was clean and tastefully decorated. Staff was friendly and helpful.

No closet nor anywhere to hang clothes in room. No coffee maker in room. Breakfast was good but food was not kept hot. Color temperature of lighting very cool (not in a good way) and made everything look institutional and sterile like an old hospital.

they lost my reservation,called later with a room cause someone canceled but the door was hard to open and there were 2 full size beds when my reservation was 2 queen size beds and there was no body wash in the dispenser in the bathtub and room was last room at end of hallway.I requested a room close to elevator cause my wife has a walker

Superb

In defense of the hotel they are going through renovations. I overlooked all the renovations. The most critical part for me is a good bed. This hotel has the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on in hotels.
