Very cute hotel, full of charm

Charming old world, art deco decor. Rooms newly remodeled like a cozy studio apartment. Comfy bed. Great price and walking distance to Summerfest. I would definitely stay here again. Nice touch of having robes in the closet

No elevator but our room was on the second floor so we only had one flight of stairs to go up

It’s a lovely hotel, but just not the bang for my buck. I can pay as much for more

Location

Stairs to the first floor room were unexpected, it seems a slight inconvenience, but having to carry luggage rather than use a cart made things a bit difficult for a person with limited mobility. I don’t ask for special accommodations, because I can do stairs, but had I known, I would have asked for a room that was more easily accessible

The room was the perfect size, very clean and staff were very friendly.

Nice room, overpriced, should’ve been given a discount as a triathlete.

The room was well appointed

Carpets in hallway appeared very dirty- area through dining room and into hallway. Our room was near a supply closet…noisy when staff was at work.

The facilities in the room are very old. I understand trying to keep a classic environment, but it's a bit too much... The kitchen is very old, the bathroom is too old, and nowhere to put the toothbrush. Not comfortable.

Loved this MCM hotel!

Quaint mid century modern hotel with a great cafe for breakfast. Rooms also have kitchens which was nice. Very clean!! Comfortable bed and very quiet atmosphere.

MCM also means small bathrooms. small issue with sink not draining but it was fixed right away.

Perfect

I loved the hotel and loved it's older charm;; like the keys for your room are actual keys, not a keycard. My husband and I loved the room. It truly felt like we had our own studio apartment! And the shower was one of my favorite showers I've ever used!

The only thing was that it's a little loud in the morning because of the restaurant, but other than that, nothing!

A historic gem in the middle of Milwaukee. loved the decor in the history of the location.

some may not like that there’s not an elevator, however, we knew this in this wasn’t a problem

noise from the hall or the cafe in the morning if you stay on the first floor. They should put a sliding door between the cafe and the wing of rooms.
