A place to sleep and that’s about it.

Location was lovely.

Room smelled terrible. Carpet appeared dirty and also needs replacing. Room in general is long overdue for an update. So much untapped potential given the beauty of the location.

This felt as all inclusive as possible when it comes to a costal location without having to pay up for it. I have stayed

The open field and mostly, the restaurant that helps this hotel stay independent. We can stay on this property without ever having to leave for much at all.

There was one particular waitress at the restaurant who spilled coffee on my glasses, made it obvious she wasn’t interested in our table by bringing more utensils in the path of my 2 year old, and by refusing to bring us a “to go” box when we were complete. This bothered my final morning.

Our stay at this hotel was a disaster. The rooms are so worn out, old and ugly. The bed was not reupholstered the answer of the gentleman in the evening we have no one from houseceeping who could help here. The room was full of smoke flavor because there were many fires outside. The food in the restaurant was inedible, the hamburger was overcooked, the bread was black and hard. My wife's chicken was just inedible. The best thing was the waiter with the longer hair, he agreed with us. We didn't have to pay for the food. Only the location is very nice....

Hidden Gem!

Wow! Hidden gem of a hotel overlooking the Pacific Coast right off Highway 1. I don't think the pictures did the place justice. It definitely exceeded our expectations. We booked two rooms and they had interconnecting doors. A fireplace, which actually came in handy for the night we were there, in August! Go for the room with a patio, it's worth it! The room service food from the restaurant was really nice!

Nothing. I'd love to come back and spend more time at this place.

All the noise from people going upstairs. The dirty dishes we saw outside of our room by the trash can. We saw them eventide we went out and coming back to out room.

I’ve been there twice and enjoyed each stay , staff is always friendly and helpful! can’t wait to come back

that it’s close to the beach within walking distance and a lot of space to take family. staff was really friendly

instead of kings row with nothing but king beds maybe have some with two queen beds it’s good location to get sand off

I can’t believe you give the Hotel up front gets abreakfast vouchers and the Cavalier gets nothing but a high price mini Bar and no microwave for babies and no room service

Location and amenities

Pricey room for an outdated motel. I paid for a quad room since we needed the pull out couch but the couch and sheets were filthy and had sand in the mattress cover. Bathroom had hair everywhere. The bathroom vent that also controls the light was extremely loud like an engine but you have to deal with it to have light.

I loved the view but I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s a motel that calls itself a resort. The photographer should win aw

The location and view was fantastic.

First room had a bug crawling on the bed and a patio door that faced the Highway. I asked for a different room and was given one but they weren’t super friendly about it. They later brought a bottle of champagne to the room with no explanation, and I don’t drink so I left it there. The furniture in the second room was badly damaged and needs replacement. Linens were very worn and need replacement.
