Kitsch experience

Would definitely recommend the hotel and cafe and I would stay again I wouldn’t visit the restaurant hovwever just based

Beautiful quirky hotel, pool was really nice atmosphere was really good

Everyone we encountered at the hotel were lovely except the staff in the restaurant we didn’t have a booking and the restaurant was pretty empty so we asked if they had a table for two available the staff on the desk just kind of looked at each other for a minute until one of them handed another two menus and muttered something then the other staff member walked off with the menus and just left us at the desk and another hostess told us to follow her we were then seated at a table and I asked if we could sit in a booth we were told no they had to hold booths for reservations there were only about 3 booths occupied at this time and plenty empty it was around 5:30, we decided that we felt so uncomfortable that we were just going to eat in the cafe instead where all the staff are super friendly and helpful, during the time we were in the cafe I did pop back to the restaurant and the booths were all still pretty much vacant so that led me to believe that they couldn’t have been booked out both the cafe and restaurant were quiet at the time we were there, it’s a shame it put a dampener on our evening as we had only booked 1 night as a special stop off on our Californian road trip

Amazing,fun,and really relaxing

My daughter and my friend enjoyed our stay so much and said so many great things about this place. My daughters favorite color is pink so she loved the hotel room and the staff was very friendly. We stayed in the España room.

love the kitschy decor/grounds and the staff were generally nice.

love the decor and kitshiness.

some of the decor was tearing/falling apart. it would’ve been nice to ha e more access to water (water filling) stations. they only give 2 complimentary water bottles. in the hot summer I would’ve like better access to water. also I wanted iced coffee in the morning and went to 2 different ice machines, walking quite a distance for the 2nd one, and they weren’t working. I was told they don’t the ice machines in until 9am. that was annoying because the cafe was far from our room. and I just wanted an ice coffee in my room at 8:30. although the plus is when I called the front desk they had someone bring ice to my room.

We were very disappointed by our whole experience there. We were excited about it going to be our first time there and w

only thing we liked was the coffee shop.Our dinner was good.

No counter space in the bathroom, lights in the room were hard to adjust, the tv was not working when we turned it on. Had to call the front desk for assistance. Didn’t have enough towels. No wall plug in the bathroom. There was only an extension cord to plug in hair dryer.

Very Clean Rooms, Great Food,Great Pool,Fun Time.

I have stay there before. Age 8,9,10. My Aunt lived in Santa Maria. I went back for different events when I was 16,21,25 of age. I have always like the Madonna. Love the Pool.

I don’t like the placement of the Modern Split system. an A/C unit in the center of the rock wall, very tacky,Very tacky. I get why you did it, I have been down there when it is Hot. I had to jiggle the handle on the toilet,so the flap would plug the drain hole in the tank so it would fill and stop. I will be back.

uplifting!

our room was so cute, disco themed with glittery and curvy walls. bathroom with painted double sinks, and best of all, heated toilets with bidet features! on top of that, the room was so clean and the whole property is just so well maintained! Love this place.

Beautiful rooms with well provided essentials. Great bar/restaurant service.

My partner and I found a live bed bug in the sink. Although it raised an eyebrow for the both of us, we appreciate the stay nonetheless.

Fun stay at a unique location. Rooms are comfortable but dated.

Fun and beautiful facility overall. The pool and hot tub is gorgeous and the deli and bar are something not to miss.

Rooms are fun, but very dated and feels dingy. A clanking noise kept coming on in the middle of the night, and I assume it was from the furnuce but it continuously woke us up so we all had 3 nights of rough sleep.
